Nos alive could actually be doable on my europe trip. Chemical Brothers top my haven't seen list and just slayed Glastonbury last year, plus they have Radiohead. Still mapping out my trip, but have from June 18th - July 11th in Europe, but will have to visit my mom in Finland for a week, and will not be passing up Glastonury. Odds are that i will just stick with glastonbury and then travel around, but am still leaving all options open.
Aside from that, Primavera is stacked.
I am hoping the Chemical Brothers show in London will fit in my itinerary, or maybe Massive Attack or Radiohead will fit in with my schedule.
I'm 24 and never left the United States. I know its depressing. I booked a flight air bnb and fest ticket to Secret Solstice this morning so I can breathe that sweet Reykjavik air and watch the return of Radiohead. Wish me luck not dying between now and then!

Have fun! Those attractions listed at the bottom of the poster beat the hell out of Roo's advertisement for the arch and whatnot.
We're doing New Order, Poliça & Bon Iver. Idk if my wallet can handle another show. HOWEVER, anything that promotes nap time is a good deal in my book. And it gives us an excuse to wear our onesies.
All solid choices. It's a great season, imo. I just salivated over Richter and Bjork.
I figured I should move this here since I was going to further this conversation.
Bjork I just can't get into. She is curating (or assisting with the curation of) some of the light installations for Vivid, which are all free. I know the opening of her installation is a paid event with some extras maybe, but the duration of the event it's free.
What is it about the Richter event stands out? I know nothing about him, not sure I've ever even heard his name before.

Speaking of Iceland, looks like I'm doing at least a day of Iceland Airwaves this year to see PJ Harvey. Mostly going to see Iceland, but I'd definitely consider going the Saturday if they add something good.

He's a composer from Germany that is just incredible. If you've seen The Leftovers, you've heard his work there. Sleep is his new piece that runs about 8 hours. It's just what the name implies. My favorite works are on Postcards. It's a brilliant album.
I'll let the Bjork go (as I know she's not for everyone) but just looking at pictures from the inside of that, I'll dream about how great that show will be.

No Secret Solstice?
Prob not, Iceland is still pretty tough and expensive to get to from here.

1) I'm super jelly that you're going abroad just for festivals. That's really exciting! 2) so are you not doing Roo this year? Or are you flying back here for it then leaving again? What are you doing for the weeks between fests? What about your real life job? Or has this replaced it? 3) do you want a travel buddy?!

1) It's def very exciting. Hasn't honestly set in yet that I'm living here. 2) No roo. I guess if I had to pick a year to break my 7 year Roo streak, this was a good one because the lineup blows. It's my day job that sent me here. Working out of a client headquarters just outside Berlin on a major project. 3) Sure

Ohhhhhhh. You're in Europe now? I had no idea that you moved. I know a while back you were possibly going to be sent to India. But I had no idea that an international move was in the works again, let alone happened. That's awesome. How long are you going to be there for? Seems like it's awesome timing that you got to move in time for Euro festival season. That's really a dream come true. I'm excited for you!
Found a $19 flight to London for next month and immediately booked it. Then happen to notice Field Day is the same weekend I'm there so. Just bought my VIP ticket. Coming for you James Blake!
Damn, didn't even realize the schedule was out. Let's give this a shot.
Friday:
Leon Vynehall > George Fitzgerald/Jamie Woon/Black Coffee (OUCH) > Gold Panda > M83 > Andhim > Tame Impala > Andy Stott > Skepta > Maya Jane Coles > Boys Noize > DJ Koze
Saturday:
Tom Trago > Stimming/Laurel Halo > Two Door Cinema Club > Special Guest > "Anything But Deichkind"/Dinner > Floating Points > Jamie XX > Maceo Plex > Andy C > Modeselektor
Sunday:
DMA's > Special Guest > Bomba Estereo > The Black Madonna > Bob Moses > CHVRCHES > Digitalism > Motor City Drum Ensemble > Disclosure > Pan-Pot
Man this festival is so good, this is like a dream schedule/lineup. Also, @jonesjupiter, I highly recommend Pan-Pot over Tiga.

I've been wanting to go to Melt. It looks great this year. I spent a few weeks in Berlin last September. Lollapalooza Berlin was on where I was there but it just didn't appeal to me as it seemed like a bland US lineup. So I went to Berghain instead, no regrets there. You gonna do Atonal. Also looks great and the Kraftwerk complex where it is held is something else.
