This is my #1 pick for Roo next year. New album coming out. Lots of touring happening. I've never seen them live, but I can only assume it's an amazing show. I would love for it to be an 8:45 set like Cut Copy this year or a latenight.

God bless you for creating this thread. Every damn year I hope and pray they'll be on the bill for Roo and it never happens. They totally should've been at Roo when Swim came out. I'm hoping with the new album Bonnaroo will know what's up and grab some Caribou for the farm in 2015.
Hopefully he stills plays stuff from Andorra? That's one of my favorite albums, but I couldn't get into Swim nearly as much.
Yea, he still plays some Andorra stuff. I personally like his entire catalog, he could pretty much play anything and I'd be happy with the setlist. I'm going to see him in New Orleans this fall. Can't wait! But I'd love to see him at Bonnaroo over a bar scene any day - but I'll take what I can get cause I've never seen him live.
I saw him/them about 4-5 years ago and wasn't super impressed with his live show, despite my love of his recorded work. Then I saw them open for Radiohead twice in their 2012 and they tore my face off. He really polished up the live show in the past few years.
Take back what I said earlier. Maybe there's a chance. I guess I'm just thinking along the lines of we typically get 1 great producer (2 if we're lucky) and I feel like that one will be Flylo. But I mean just looking at his dates they really show no sort of pattern. But I'd imagine the glastonbury's of the world would keep him occupied by then.
Edit: but really what the fuck do I know?

I really don't think of him as a producer like I do FlyLo or Four Tet or anyone like that. His music just seems so much more organic and the live shows are not very button-pushy at all. I'd liken it more to SBTRKT's live show which, unfortunately, gives him the possibility of a daytime show
Really hard to predict live dates for summer of next year. Especially when you look at the dates of a band like Darkside, and think about how they played Roo this year. Definitely not impossible.
Yeah actually when i was thinking of getting two producers, I thought of the year we got Flylo and SBTRKT and how it'd be so similar (and plausible). Honestly caribou/Flylo would be more than I can hope for. Even giving caribou the daytime slot I'd be thrilled.
I guess for some reason I feel like caribou is bigger in Europe? And could be more of a commodity than even someone like Darkside.
They weirdly haven't played Coachella yet either.

Wow, I just listened to Our Love. Quacking great. I haven't heard anything since Andorra and was really surprised to hear that Caribou's turned into a dance band. Caribou would definitely be a big draw for me to the farm next year!
Our Love has quickly become one of my recent faves. I love the album from start to finish, and would love my first ever Caribou show to be next year on the farm.

I'm willing to bet on both Coachella and Roo appearances. It's a surefire way to keep this momentum deep into 2015. Just as Chvrches did last year and Tame Impala and FJM did in 2013 for me. Big boost from the album late in the year, followed by a bunch of festival announcements. Keep your fingers crossed.
This will def be a top 3 show for me next year. Maybe #1. My favorite album this year by leaps and bounds
