I don't believe anyone said anything about this, but some people with the positive comments on facebook are getting emails from Firefly. No one has said what is in those said emails but the person will comment and firefly replied maybe 3 times asking for their email. This may be why everyone is being so nice. Might be free tickets in those emails??

I'm actually so annoyed with MikeG and that a company would compensate him to argue over message boards with people. I've stayed quiet this whole time waiting and haven't lobbed any insults but Mike people left a board because of you so why follow them and continue the act. You make the company you represent look childish and amateur.

I went on the Facebook page and saw all the "You're doing a great job, keep up the good work!" crap, and I was shocked.
Since when does a company do an absolutely abhorrent job of providing their customers any news, constantly miss deadlines, and be way behind their competitors in most categories, and still get great reviews? I thought I was in the twilight zone reading all the positive comments.
Here's a comment: "Hey Firefly, you guys suck. I'm still going to buy a ticket, but I'm openly telling you that you guys are awful at this crap."

Haha but that is exactly how I feel. This fest is 45 minutes from my house, so of course I'm going to go but their PR/social media presence is shockingly terrible. Great product, horrible advertising/customer treatment.

Who honestly cares this much? Something happened that they weren't expecting, big deal. Have they handled it perfectly? No, but they haven't completely shut down communication all together either.

When the other festivals have all released their lineups already, you're behind your competitors. In the business world, being the last one to release the product is generally considered a fail. Especially if there are rumbles that your product is going to be inferior compared to your competitors'.
Its not that its affecting my life. Its just that I was shocked to see all the positive feedback on their Facebook page, when the truth is that they haven't done anything worthy of positive feedback. Their customer communication is terrible. And my prior experiences with RedFrog sucked too. Last year I did the payment plan and my final payment was charged three times in the same day, AND they never sent me a ticket. If I didn't follow up with them I would have never received a ticket. They said my paperwork "fell through the cracks." What the hell does that mean?
Firefly was great last year. But my experiences with RedFrog have been abysmal.
