That's honestly laughable. Who is getting the late night slots then if none of these acts? It is probably the white panda every night for two hours, unopposed. Everyone else gets afternoon slots. #redfroglogic
I'm going to laugh so hard if Aoki gets an unopposed late night set.
Late night unopposed would be terrible. Even Girl Talk and Pretty Lights were up against others - there's no way they just have one person playing LN.
Steve Aoki is fucking awful and Red Frog are fucking morons for booking him. If they wanted to throw a late night party they could have done a much better job going after one of the Mad Decent guys.
After seeing Jack U at MSG on New Year's and watching their Hangout set, it blows my mind that Firefly hasn't booked either Jack U or Skrillex/Diplo individually yet in the festival's history. Any of those 3 would be great for a late night party as opposed to Aoki. Bought tickets to Mad Decent Philly as soon as I saw Jack U on the lineup, it's a party every time they take the decks.

Well last year there was three spots for Saturday late night. It's almost 100% that Aoki gets one of the remaining two since we know Rustie is one of them. The third spot? The only remaining EDM is Whyel. It would be pretty cool if they put in someone completely out of left field as the third spot but I doubt it. I'm betting Aoki has the spot directly after the headliner, Whyel has the smaller Forrest stage spot, and Rustie has the 1:00AM-2:00AM spot.
outside of Coachella RTJ has been a mid day act at every fest i think, i dont see why that would be any different here.
Agree, didn't really ever see them as a late night act. Wouldn't expect them to go on any later than like 7 something.
Edit: Though I'd love to see them get a late night slot because it would mean my group wouldn't bail early and miss out on a lot of good acts during late night like they have a tendency to.

Matoma is still out there as well and would make more sense than Whyel IMO. Also could see Lettuce in that spot.

Ah yes I missed Matoma. Lettuce would be a cool change of pace too.
Who is going to both!? I will be. Any Wednesday premier campers that are doing both fests?
This just my opinion, but I'm over hearing about 21P and RTJ. The FF fan Page folks are all about 21P and I just don't get it. Same with RTJ. Over hyped, but I guess I'm glad they give other people 'musical' pleasure.
Lastly....Speaking about replacements for Charlie xcx, I know it's not on the same level but Jack Johnson would be a disappointing one. I used to be a HUGE fan but has become boring over the years and that FF set last year was the most boring time I've ever had at a festival.
The handful of times I have checked the board today I have seen recent activity in this thread, and I get excited that everybody is talking about the schedule that I'm thinking just came out.

No way they book JJ again. He was the Sunday "headliner" last year. 21P has a lot of fans from FF, for whatever reason. I am a fan but know they are nowhere even close to as good as some people seem to believe. With RTJ... eh I'm not sure that people are really hyping them up that much on the page but maybe I didn't see it. I posted something about them yesterday.

Y'all need to quit disappointing.
This is Firefly we're talking about. You should be used to disappointment.

I'd be so down for a late night Lettuce show, that would be awesome.

anyone else think the fact that we've already had 3 updates today might be them leading up to something ?
I thought the same thing, and then I realized I've had this thought process before during the lineup release debacle, and now during the last week or so for the schedule release.
I'm genuinely curious what could be holding up the schedule this long. I know we will never get an answer or an explanation, but it would be interesting to know.

They have been quite active on social media these past few days, so there's a decent chance we see it by the end of the week. They're starting to run out of time as it is.

The fact that I'm leaving for this festival two weeks from today and don't have a schedule sucks. I just wish Red Frog would at least acknowledge it and give some sort of update

At this point I'd imagine (logically, but this is RedFrog of course) they have to be trying to find a replacement for Charli XCX. My guess is that's holding up the whole schedule because if they replace her with a much larger or much smaller act, it'd probably require a reshuffling of the schedule. Just my 2 cents.

If that's all it is I'm surprised they wouldn't just release it and say subject to change or something like that

MikeG did say the schedule release was held up for "unavoidable circumstances" or something to the effect. Charlie XCX dropping could be that I suppose.

This close to festival, I think it'd be stupid to put out an incomplete schedule. They should've put out the schedule with "subject to change" a few weeks ago IMO, but they're better off just waiting for the final product at this point.
