Pusha was so bad last year though. Can't imagine why you'd want him back only to hear his songs played directly out of the speakers.
I got too drunk and missed him last year Lol my friends said they had fun though. That's the first negative thing I've heard about it.
Yeah it wasn't the strongest performance. Once you get used to live hip-hop with a backing band rapping over beats on a laptop just doesn't compare. I enjoyed it 'cause it was Pusha and he ran through a lot of his best verses. I wouldn't expect him back this year though, just doesn't seem likely for whatever reason.

It was WILD when he played Don't Like. I was bummed that Kanye didn't bring him out for any songs
To be clear his vocal recordings were also coming out of the speakers, not just the beats.
Yeah thinking back I can remember that now. He seemed kinda low-energy, I didn't have the best view of the stage though. If the crowd hadn't been so hyped I probably would have left the set thinking it was much weaker.

The crowd made that show fun. Also So Appalled, Runaway, Mercy, Don't Like, and New God Flow back to back was amazing (and had little backtracking besides Runaway)

So I guess Insider or Infinitypass confirmed we'll be getting a hip hop headliner this year. Dunno if that means top three or includes the fourth name, as Insider often does, or 5th and 6th as well, as sometimes happens.
What do you guys think? Drake has already been ruled out. If we see a rapper in the top three, I would guess Jay-Z. I think J Cole and Nikki Minaj are more likely, but can't really see either of those artists in the top three. Maybe Kendrick, but he's played the festival a lot recently. Still could happen.

If there is a hip hop headliner I would guess it is most definitely Kendrick. J. Cole is nowhere near headliner material. Jay Z would be cool but I won't get my hopes up for something so epic.

J Cole's on track to have the bestselling hip hop album released in 2014. I don't see him playing unopposed, but keep in mind that Insider usually knows six names, which includes a mix of preheadliners and LN. I could see Cole preheadlining.

2014 was a very sad year for hip hop, in my opinion. A lot of new music I listened to was pure garbage.
