I'll be there. Made my first trip to the Ledges for Grateful Fest over the 4th. Unfortunately I was only able to stay for a little more than a day, but I still fell in love with the venue. Lotus is one of my favorite bands, and I can't wait to see them two nights at the Ledges.

I was just coming on to start this thread if no one else had. So far we have Monie,LIguy,1karen1, my friend Dan from Chicago, and my friend Trish. Dan and Trish and I are going in on Thursday to set up camp so we don't end up in the Meadows. Three tents per camp site, and they will fill up all the way plus overflow across the street, so come as early on Friday as you can get there. We can try to get two campsites if you guys want to camp together. Good times.

I have to work Friday and will be arriving at around 6 Friday evening. I am hoping that a couple of my friends coming from Columbus will have friday off and will get there as early as possible to carve out a campsite.
Worst scenario, they dont get off work and I arrive at 6 on Friday, will there be a danger of me not getting a campsite at all? How crowded does this normally get?
It sucks that everyone is bailing on Campfire to go to this. Damn you all!

Just came here to post this.
The closer this gets the more upset I am that I can only do thurs/fri. Right now my OT posted for Saturday night is only half covered. So I have to go to work at 3am sat night/sun morning. I would be optimistic about it getting covered, but this past Saturday night only got half covered too. So it's not looking too good.

I'm definitely in for this. It was a tough choice. But I'd be mad at myself for not going.

It's been a while since I've been to Nelson Ledges. So, let's talk logistics.

I am. It makes logistical and monatary sense to me. And even though I would normally jump at a chance for some Jay time. Because he kind of took my heart with him when he left Buffalo this week, I think I can go for another week or two before I hunt him down to get it back. It was a real hard decision.
But, I'll be there. And we'll have to call him and make trans-festival jokes while we're there.

I am leaving from Steubenville (about 90 minute drive) at about 3:30 pm on Friday. We plan on getting there about 5, throwing up a couple of tents to claim a campsite, then running over to see as much of moon hooch as we can. (we all really like moon hooch). I also have a couple more cars of friends who plan on coming up on Saturday.
I don't think it will be possible to all camp in the same area. but I would love have a meetup at some time during the weekend. The park itself isn't very big, I am sure a meetup wouldn't be very hard to coordinate. If you want we can set up a PM to exchange info to arrange something.
