it's kind of nuts to think the last kanye album that didn't feel rushed and incomplete was MBDTF.
Yeezus felt rushed when it was released but I wouldn't change a single thing about it
i also wouldn't change a thing about Yeezus. and in fact i'm a strong believer that a lot of music suffers from an artists spending too much time tweaking it and laboring over it, sometimes the best stuff does feel rushed.

The most frustrating thing when discussing Ye is that the first track got updated a couple of months after release because they didn't clear a sample. Now what used to be one of my favorite tracks is unlistenable on Spotify. So it's like what version should I be thinking about? Because the intro song on a 7 track album makes a big difference.
Going through Ye: I Thought About Killing You - the original version is great. The updated version is ass Yikes - is a fun song but the volume is too low and never feels like it's hitting as hard as it should. All Mine - also a fun song but suffers from the same problem as Yikes. Wouldn't Leave - can't stand this song at all No Mistakes - the chorus and sample on this is angelic. Not a huge fan of Kanye's one verse. This had so much potential from the way it starts out. Ghost Town - top ten Kanye song Violent Crimes - Solid 8/10 Kanye song

Late Registration MBDTF College Dropout Yeezus Graduation Life of Pablo Watch the Throne Kids See Ghosts 808s JIK ye
070 Shake singing about putting her hand on the stove to see if she still bleeds is literally the only good part of Ye. Not even in the same universe as LR or MBDTF

Big eh here. I recall liking this song enough, but surely he’s got 10 other classics we should rate better than this one.

I won't argue it's objectively a perfect song. But if I'm going by which songs send the most dopamine to my brain, this would be a top ten song. I know I'm not completely alone on this. If Kanye was performing live, Ghost Town would be the highlight of the concert for me.
