Like many would know what that was without googling it.
You needed to Google SCOTUS? When the context was precedent in law? (Though in this case it is just an opinion poll with awesome pictures of feline submariners as it's only redeeming feature, so it's hard to get worried about it.)
We may be on the same side of this one, but please go stand on the other side of our side.
As much as I enjoy the posts, and get quite a few big laughs from each one, I changed my vote from yes to no.
It's a precedent that will be set. "You can break the rules if we think you're cool enough to be in the elite" "regardless of how many times you quit and come back with a different name and or account"
Disloyal elitists have to follow the same rules as chodes like me.
I assume you were going for something more like "fickle" here?

I was merely pointing out the absurdity of making one person above the rules just because it happens to be entertaining.
I could care less if I am part of the minority here.
Giving the defendant liberties that common folk don't have because some think he's "cool" sends a message to everyone. It sends a message to other "cool" people that they're above the rules too. It sends a message to the "chodes" that not only are they chodes, they will be treated inferiorly, and they should shut up and deal.
There is already a power clique structure in place here and this would just exacerbate feelings of superiority and inferiority amongst people who are challenged to abide by the "Bonnaroovian code" as it is.
As much as I enjoyed reading the very creative, very entertaining posts by Capp Dogg, you simply can't let the rooster rule the henhouse.
And I think you're missing, or avoiding, the point.
I'm not missing or avoiding the point, it's that your not making one that hasn't already been beaten to death. There is no danger of setting a bad precedent, because there are already duplicate accounts for specific purposes here. This isn't about one person being able to do what they want, it's about asking permession to do something and having an overwhelming number of people being in support.

I legit have no idea what the fuck you're talking about here, other than the fact that you think the "Bonnaroovian code" is a real thing that exists.
They're just waiting force everyone to forget about this so they don't have to do anything
Or they were never going to do anything
It's weird that in a place where things like "vibes" and "the Bonnaroo spirit" are discussed as serious concepts, a poll option which garners the overwhelming majority of votes from its participants wouldn't be taken seriously. I mean, if it's all about respecting each other's wishes, it seems strange to dismiss the perspective of the majority with respect to a change they wish to see enacted.

Maybe because the very thing you wish to reinstitue made fun of those "vibes" and "Bonnaroo spirit", as well as the people who embody them.

What part of the Bonnaroo spirit includes voting to allow a smug, condescending pilgarlic rule-breaking privileges that lead to insulting the creator of our favorite time and place of the year, regardless of it's entertainment value?

It's ok, you can get back to me when you find it.
It's really only insulting if you believe there is a significant amount of truth to the Capp Dogg persona. And if that's the case, do you truly believe that Ashley Capps is some untouchable being to be revered and adored no matter what? Personally, I believe that he got into the business he's in because he loves music . . . and money and power. He wouldn't have gotten to where he is if he didn't. But I also recognize that the Capp Dogg persona is so ridiculously beyond what the man is (probably) actually like, that there's little to no truth left in it. So I don't really see it as insulting, and if I did think there was enough truth in it to make it insulting, then I would think that he at least somewhat deserved to be insulted.

When the real el Cappo came and met the panda army two years back, he was relatively down to earth about it. So if anyone is having a laugh about that persona it's the AC/e team

He, in fact, DID have a laugh about it during the AMA.
