Highlight of the farm is a bit stretching, but it's absolutely a top 2 or 3 set for me, that tent is going to be madness.
Agreed, but I feel like there are a few songs I would've chosen in place of Oh My Darling Don't Cry.
What would you have chosen? For me it's a toss up between Lie, Cheat, Steal and A Christmas Fucking Miracle. The former will whip the crowd into a frenzy and the latter is (IMO) simply their best song.
Honorable mention to the line "No hocus pocus, you simple suckers been served a notice. Top of the morning, my fist to your face is fucking Folgers"

Agreed on those 2 songs. Sea Legs has is a nice change in pace and I love that song, too. But top songs... would definitely be either lie cheat steal or christmas. hands down.

I hope they throw in No Come Down. When they performed it at Index Fest in '12 Mike said it was the first time they had done that song live and it got the crowd of a few hundred extra hype

You just gave me goosebumps. Can it be roo already? damn....
When this song hits at 2:20 will be the highlight of the Farm.
I don't understand the hype with these guys- they're just kind of yelling at the crowd the whole time. I can't even hear the lyrics. 2:20 is the highlight of the farm? it barely juices up the venue in the video

Live rap doesn't always translate well. Their studio stuff is top notch, and Killer Mike has one of the best rap voices in the game. With these guys, a lot of fans are diehard and know most of the words by heart. RTJ is super high energy, so they're jumping around, getting into it, and a casual listener might not be down for it. I can see their point. But if you give their studio stuff a listen, you'd be feeling that shiz in concert.

THIS.
None of my friends can stand RTJ, but I cannot get enough. It's in my car, on my spotify all day at work, and it's just not enough. The lyrics, my god, the lyrics....

Close Your Eyes (And Count to..well, you know..)
I seeeeee. If we do get a Zach de la Rocha appearance that song very well could be the rowdiest of the set.

I really like Sea Legs too. In fact it was the first RTJ song I ever heard, but it won't illicit the crowd reaction it should. I could probably say the same for Christmas though. RTJ hasn't seen the love that RTJ2 is getting.

That video is a poor example of a RTJ show.

I'm getting you confused with luva since you both have the same avatar.
WHAT THE FUCK DUDE???????
I am so glad I am not the only one! I had to double check that it was actually luva in the got my wristband thread after I posted because I noticed this "dupe" luva....

My favorite thing about this video is that this is truly the most tame possible outcome of their show at 'Roo. If you think that was raucous and fun, shit you're in for a treat.
