Did anybody that purchased a ticket not get a confirmation email? I went through the whole process and got to the page that says the sale is complete and that there would be an email sent to me confirming the purchase, but I never got said email. Am I the only person that had this happen.
A couple years ago I didn't get a confirmation email for a hangout purchase. I called the 1800 number and they sent it to me. Might try calling to get that piece of mind.
Took about 2 hours to get my confirmation email, which made me very nervous, but it eventually arrived.

I WISH! They had been one of my favorite bands for 15 years and I splurged on tickets when try toured Wasting Light. My dream was that the headliners this year would be Foo Fighters-Prince-Pink Floyd but I think FF signed on for Glastonbury in England which is the same weekend! I think. Don't quote me.

Seems to me that the tickets are officially on sale for Tier 1. My un-educated guess is that the pre-sale tix were available for a certain amount of time (vs. so many tickets were set aside and when those sell out..done). So you had 1 hour to get your "cheap" $274.50 tix. Tier 1 may have an actual number of tickets that they haven't sold out of yet. downonthefarm I'm a little surprised to see Tier 1 not sold out yet either. The rather steep (compared to years past) price hike may actually be hurting sales.
EDIT: Or not, but I can't seem to find a date mentioned when the official sale begins.
Bought my tickets on Black Friday, still can't believe they're up for sale. I had a buddy go through and buy his on payment plan just this morning, I've been told that they might actually stay on pre-sale through Christmas!

I bought presale tickets to Forecastle 2012 on my phone in the car (as the driver)
Stuff like this is why I no longer have a smartphone.

Yeah, I've always waited til the lineup dropped to get my ticket, but I bought the presale on Black Friday and the anticipation is INSANE. Like, I'm always real excited about the lineup dropping but it usually doesn't really set in until after New Years. I've been dying for BLAM to come already since November. I'm not too excited about many of the roo clues but I'm lookin forward to Death Cab and Robert Plant. I just hope that they blow us away when we finally see the whole thing.
the only time a bought a presale ticket before the lineup drop was in 2006 and it was $150 and ended up being one of my favorite years. nowadays I rely on people buying the presale, their friends all bailing on them/mommy wont let them go/don't like the lineup and clean up off ebay for about the same price.

The best part of presale is waiting for the lineup to drop. You never know if it will be the best of worst for you till it drops. I got mine presale for 2013 and i was on pins and needles until the lineup dropped. I was not expecting björk at all! Good luck and I hope you get a killer lineup.
I just needed to vent about how I clicked on the 274.50 ticket quantity two and when I got to the next page it said "quantity not avail" dirty pool, but I got my tickets at 299(not the worst) and my friemds were lucky enough to hear me b&$ch about it all day. Vent over!
Hey, missed out on the Pre-sale, didn't know it only went to the 1st. I was wondering do they give you notice of when the normal tickets go on sale? I just want to make sure I am ready. I know it probably changes every year but does anyone have an idea of when they do usually go on sale again? I won't rest until I know my names on the list and my tickets in the mail. Super excited for my first roo! Going with a couple of friends who live in Buffalo NY with me and it's all they have talked about since last summer. No way I can miss out this year. Thanks!

The notice is when they release the lineup. Tickets typically go one sale a few days later.
