Where's the source they're playing fests on the east coast?
They're rumored for Lockn, source is Google.
I saw that, but not much else indicating a full-blown tour on the east coast. I know they're some rumors of a coast residency type shindig. I can't imagine The Dead would pass up playing the west coast, especially San Francisco.
For what it's worth, I heard that The Dead are getting back together next summer. But despite the Lock'n rumors, as of now they aren't booked for anything.

I like fanning the moronic Phil 'roo rumors, but for what it's worth I'd also like to see The Dead on the farm in 2015.
All the Kanye haters were proved wrong last year, and it could've been a surprise set in 2013 if they could've made it happen accordin' to the AMA right? Hell, I might have said Kanye wouldn't be back too.
But maybe AC/S and members of The Dead (Lesh, Weir, etc.) just needed time to schedule somethin'. Time will tell.
Someone called Forever Bonnaroo, who apparently prides themself in trafficking in Bonnaroo news and rumours, couldn't discern whether or not the principal behind the festival would take to the Inforoo forums and spew vitriolic insanity about how the whole thing was a money grab designed to save him from the Russian mafia.

I would almost rather The Dead play Friday or Saturday, so they can go as long as they like, but I'll take Sunday. If roo doesn't make this happen I will be soooo sad!
Oh, I know. All my Phil posts are always tongue in cheek. I was at that Which Stage LN, and I didn't hear him getting pissy about Kanye. I think, if my recollection serves me correctly, that show was one of his longest of that year. Fans got their money's worth, at least I know I did.
