After reading the following pages, I'm pretty convinced Roo Clue #6 is Moon Taxi. Not sure why they used such obscure clues for a lower tier act (just show a damn taxi cab with a freaking moon in the background), but the connections are all there. "Bucket of Whiskey" is a Moon Taxi song. Thai buckets, which contain whiskey as the main alcoholic beverage, are served at Full Moon parties in Thailand. Full Moon parties are apparently a bucket list activity for many tourists. And lastly, because these Full Moon parties are held on an island (Koh Phangan), people often take ferries (or water taxis) from the mainland. In other words, my reasoning is essentially the same as what's included in the OP.

The fact that you had to go through this many steps has me convinced it's not moon taxi.
I see your point, but is there a more straightforward answer that fits the clues? Rubblebucket and Buckethead have been mentioned, but why would they specifically choose an image of a Thai bucket?

I think when we get the answer it will either be completely obvious, or we'll realize it's a clue that only make sense to the person that thought it up

This is pretty left field thinking here, but maybe it is moon taxi. Think about it, when we were young we all wanted to go to space. Maybe that's where the "bucket list" is tied in. I don't freaking know, but this guy has to be on to something with his logic! Argh damn Roo clue #6!!!!!

So, this is just a thought but maybe it's Jimmy Buffett? He has the songs "Margaritaville" and "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere" which are about drinking and relaxing. He is considered by many to be a "bucket list" act. He definitely fits the Bonnaroo vibe. And checking his website, there are currently no tour dates for June of 2015. Like I said, just a thought. I really don't have any solid evidence to back it u.
The radio clue is most likely not a reference to a "bucket list" act because that definition is too ambiguous and subjective. And it wouldn't be Jimmy Buffett because he has already played Roo (he was a late addition in 2009).

Yep, that's why I said it. Everything seemed to be them. You can still argue 2 is Sturgill Simpson because nobody ever really connected Moon Taxi to the radio clue.
“Music has always been a matter of Energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio.” - Hunter Thompson
