I actually found Flume pretty underwhelming when I saw him. Didn't do much but play his tracks, hope he does something more unique for his live show come June.
I like Flume a lot, but I fully expect him to be billed late afternoon or late night against someone I like better
God that would be horrible.
He was early evening before Beck (on a different stage) when I saw him and it wasn't too bad. But the stage is also under a bridge and the sun was setting so it was still a pretty fucking cool environment.

sunset pre-HL tent sets can be pretty dope.
if anyone has a recommendation for flume stuff to listen to, maybe a good live mix or live video, please share, i know nothing about flume.

Boiler Room mixes arent really a representation of what his live show is... But it sounds good!
Does he have a good light show or something? I see him fitting right in the James Blake spot. One of the Tents around 8:30pm
Yea, I could see that too. His light show was pretty "normal" from what I could remember. Nothing too fancy. I wish I had my videos, but they're on my laptop that crashed.

He has a light show, but I wouldnt say it is integral.. I think EDM shows at Roo generally lose something when they aren't late night. SBTRKT a few years ago being a good case in point.

I guess it depends on the artist for me. A Flume sunset set would be great, Classixx and Robert Delong during the day this year were a ton of fun too. But if they give me Flying Lotus any earlier than midnight I will be pissed.

Def with you on the Flylo part... I didn't mind Robert Delong during the day, so I guess you are right about it depending on the artist too.... I really would love to see Flume get late night in The Other Tent though.
Hopefully Chet Faker will be there as well and they can do some songs off the Lockjaw EP together.
I was listening to Lockjaw today while at work and I made a mental note to come on here to see what the people had to say. Thank you for having this thought.
So Flume is 11th on the lineup. I can totally see him a LN tent set. Fingers crossed he's the artist to play to sunrise!!
Flume will not play to sunrise. He plays the same hour and a half set every night when tours. He will almost certainly the first LN act in one of the tents on Friday or Saturday with someone playing after him.
Is Flume big enough for LN on Which? What if he got the Ice Cube/Flaming Lips slot from last year? Just wondering since he's so high on the lineup. I imagine he's got to be one of the premier LN shows this year with that billing.
