Looking like this so far. I'll be down to just wander around and check new shits out as well, obv.
FRI-Joy Formidable > Ruby Amanfu > Frank Turner > Joey Bada$$ & Soul Rebels > Modest Mouse > Jack U > Florence SAT- Mike D. > Peaches >Santigold > Babes In Toyland > Giorgio Moroder > Jane's Addiction > Ozzy SUN- Chance the Rapper > Fishbone > Dumpsta > The Cult > Slightly Stoopid > Deadmau5
I'll prob get to the fest earlier everyday but those are the bands I have to be there by. Sucks about missing PiL and Lettuce, but I've seen both, the latter like 10x. Do they even have Krasno at all anymore?
I might go check out some ZBB for a couple songs. Like, while walking between stages or going to eat food. Showing up the latest on Halloween due to possible facepaint/sun issues.
Anybody hear anything about hetti late nights? I should be in town Thurs night, which had Oteil/Nicholas Payton/Johnny V @ The Leaf last year. Def committed to Mastodon 100% for Saturday so that really leaves Friday as I'm splitting town after Deadmau5 unless I decide to crash at my gf's place.

I left my phone at home. I can't see the add ons. I want to cry because the conflicts sound horrible.
Schedule comes out today at 11:00 anyway, so you'll be able to see it online. The major adds are the ones I posted last night (which were missing from the original cubes). I noted the ones of interest to me.
Additional acts that I didn't notice previously: Bantam Foxes, "Earmilk Contest Winner" and Hank and the Cupcakes. New Adds to cubes are:
Metric: Friday 6:25-7:25 which conflicts with Joey Bada$$ and Soul Rebels (6-7) Steve Angello: Saturday 9:30 - 11:00 (exact same time as Ozzy) Public Image Ltd.: 8:15-9:15 Saturday Peaches: 5:15-6:15 Saturday Terrence Blanchard and the E Collective: 4:15-5:30 Saturday Mike Dillon's Punk Percussion Consortium: 2:30-3:45 Saturday Chance the Rapper: Sunday 2:30-3:30 Dumpstaphunk: 4:00-5:00 Sunday

Thanks for posting that!
Yeah I am more upset about leaving my phone at home, than not being able to see the cubes, since they drop at 11am. Plus, they usually tweak slightly anyway after the initial drop.

Just guessing how I'll do the lineup
Fri
Gerard Way>Joey Bada$$>Alesso/Modest Mouse>JackU>Florence & the Machine
Sat
Joywave>Peaches>Jacob Plant>Giorgio Moroder>Jane's Addiction(MAYBE check out Duke Dumont)>Ozzy+friends
Sun
Elliphant>Chance the Rapper>Bro Safari>Tchami>Eric Prydz>Deadmau5
Was hoping TEB and Slightly Stoopid would be earlier in the day on Sunday, same for Lettuce and ZHU on Saturday. Kinda sucks they are all at the end of the night, even if TEB was pretty underwhelming at Firefly last year. Always cool to relive the 90's.
I'm guessing there will be a significant portion of the crowd that will move from Zac Brown Band to Third Eye Blind and the opposite crowd moving from Prydz to Deadmau5.
Friday Hundred Waters > Joy Formidable > Joey Bada$$/Metric > Modest Mouse > Florence (most time I have ever spent at the main stage in all my voodoos)
Saturday aka Clusterfuck Mike Dillion's Punk Rock Consortium/The Struts > Joywave > Peaches/Clutch > Santigold > Django Django/PiL/Janes' Addiction > Lettuce/Ozzy Superjam (I got the hard choices that day)
Sunday Baby Bee > Elliphant > Chance the Rapper > The Cult
Missing Fishbone (again) sucks and again I am confronted with the fact that Sunday sucks ass for my music tastes.
So I've determined I can't make this festival due to work conflicts. I have a room at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans (the official hotel of Voodoo, and a gorgeous place right next to the Superdome) from Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1 that I would love to sublease to a responsible festivalgoer. These rooms were $219 + tax, but I'll obviously give a discount ($150 a night, I'm thinking) because I don't want to take a complete loss.
Anybody need a very nice room for Voodoo but didn't want to spend $500 for two nights? Let me know!
In Bloom Festival 3/18-3/19 Houston, Texas Rock Werchter Festival 7/5-7/8 - Werchter, Belgium Mad Cool Festival 7/12-7/14 - Madrid, Spain Austin City Limits 10/5-10/7 - Austin, Texas
This is what I'm looking at 7 weeks out. I usually make about 65-70% of my intended Voodoo schedule.
Friday: I don't know the early shit yet so I'm going to see whatever is sounding good. I will probably go to Hundred Waters and see if I like that at 2:30. Then
Pass by Wax Motif and Dan Dyer Go to Salva and maybe some of Joy Formidable Give Jauz a shot Catch a half hour of Frank Turner Joey Bada$$ and Soul Rebels Yellawolf Jack U Florence
Saturday Wander sets to see what's good Mike Dillon Punk Fantastic Negrito Terrence Blanchard featuring E-Collective Clutch \m/ Whatever between Santigold. Jacob Plant, growlers Babes in Toyland Jane's Addiction PiL/Lettuc pieces parts???????? Ozzy +
Sunday Whatever til Quickie Mart Here Come the Mummies Fishbone/Chance the Rapper Bro Safari Dumpstaphunk The Cult Slightly Stoopid 3rd Eye/ Deadmau5 walking out
Maintaining that my schedule is the single most all over the place festival schedule ever for me. Shits gonna be a blast but it's really odd. Lots of talent though...
Longinus and I saw Django Django @ Roo '13 not knowing who they were, completely disoriented after Ariel Pink wrecked our faces. They were good, if it wasn't a conflict I would check them out again. I was too far gone to really get into it.
I can't stress enough that everyone needs to check out some of Babes In Toyland. I saw them in Denver at Riot Fest a couple weeks ago and they were so badass. They are the third hardest rocking band on the lineup behind Ozzy and Jane's.
Hardest rocking bands @ Riotfest= The Prodigy > L7 > Babes In Toyland > System of A Down
Yeah. I plan to catch their set. That should be a good rock and noise day with Mike Dillon, Clutch, Babes in Toyland, Jane's Addiction and Ozzy. I missed them in the 90's, as they weren't a band I paid much attention to. But I respect who and what they are, and with the recommendation that they're going hard, which is what I want for Voodoo, I'm all over that.

I seem to be different from most in here. I don't really have any conflicts all weekend. I had too many last year (thomas gold/zedd/slayer/rebirth brass band, skrillex/big freedia/ arctic monkeys/, thirty seconds to mars/city & colour/flux pavilion, Le Plur/ Ritual on Sunday). I'm really sad that Big Freedia isn't playing this year. I'm also sad that Unicorn Fukr is playing on Saturday, rather than his usual Sunday morning set. I really enjoyed seeing him twice in one day (once at Voodoo, once at Church*)
Friday: Earmilk Sessions > Wax Motif > Salva > Jauz > Destructo > Alesso > Jack U > Florence + The Machine Saturday: Kompression w/ Unicorn Fukr & Herb Christopher > Carmine P. Filthy & A Boy Named Ruth > Fantastic Negrito > Giorgio Moroder > Duke Dumont > Lettuce > Zhu Sunday: Quickie Mart > Mija > Bro Safari > Tchami > Eric Prydz > Slightly Stoopid > Deadmau5
I usually see a lot more than I plan to at Voodoo so I'm sure these aren't the only artists I'll see. I like genres other than EDM I promise.

It's all good. I know people who post up primarily for a certain stage (be it the EDM, Main or one of the alternative stages) all weekend. I tend to wander, but I'm extremely light this year on Le Plur as the only shows I'm planning on seeing there are some of Wax Motif, Salva, Jauz, Jack U, Jacob Plant, Quickie Mart and Bro Safari. The way mine breaks down for what I have checked on my cubes (as of now) is:
Flambeau - 11 Carnival - 8 Le Plur - 7 Main Stage - 5
Most of my sets and partial sets are at the 2 other stages over EDM & Main (19 - 12). But I'll see most of the EDM I want to see on Friday (one show Saturday, 2 Sunday), and I'll be at the main stage most of Saturday just because Fantastic Negrito, Clutch, Jane's and Ozzy all play on that. Where I'm having a really hard time is coming up with a Top 10. Because Public Image Ltd. and Lettuce would automatically be in that Top 10 but I might have only 5-8 minutes at each stage just to pass by and pay my respects, I'm not counting them. There is a lot of stuff I want to see for myself that may or may not end up being great. But as of now, I'd have it:
1. Jane's Addiction 2. Ozzy and Friends 3. Fishbone (1/2 set split with Chance) 4. Chance the Rapper (see above) 5. Terrence Blanchard & The E Collective (will be the jazziest set at Voodoo by miles) 6. Clutch 7. Soul Rebels & Joey Bada$$ 8. Florence & The Machine 9. Jack U 10. Title Fight (sort of 3rd wave punk, and not as hard as I like it, but I'll check them out)
Hell, it's a Top 10 I wouldn't even catch any shit from solidrock for. Haha.
For me, this is the first time in years that 90% of the acts I want to see are actually on the main stage. I am usually bouncing from Carnival to Flambeau to Altar. It seems very odd.

hey guys I'm selling 1 general admission ticket to Voodoo for 150 (early bird price that I paid) trying to ship this out as soon as my wrist band arrives because due to work I cant make it this year, let me know if anyones interested my email is michaeldogali1@gmail.com
RL Grime & SBCR DJ Set (The Bloody Beetroots) are playing Hell's Gala on 10/31/15 at Sugarmill for Hell's Gala.
Not bad of a show, but if I was heading out Halloween night after Ozzy, it would be to CoC and Mastadon. And that's about a 1-2% chance of that even happening.
