So Bonnaroo has a somewhat 80's theme this year: Tears for Fears, Back to the Future in the Cinema Tent, Enchantment Under the Sea Dance, Corey Feldman Q&A with a Goonies & Lost Boys quote-a-long, and now rumors of this. It would make sense.
i just think it's usually lead by somebody that is on the farm, that's why i think it's weird they'd have pretty lights do a superjam and not play otherwise.......................robe rage
Well this year has been a year for many firsts. Since it costs an arm and a leg to get pretty lights to play it might somewhat justify the price hike as well ??? I don't know. But maybe this could also explain a few other things. Hold up ......I'm gonna text AC and find out the truth
yea i was just texting with a buddy about how many firsts there are this year. i was specifically talking to him about mau5 and nectar set times. 1.5 and 1.25 hours. shorter than any of the top edm acts the last 3 years. even kaskade played 2 hours last year. oh well i'm sure, wait, i'm hoping they won't let us down (bonnaroo)
Picture seems fake (I can tell by the pixels), but the list of artists and "theme" is believable. Plus none of them have anything scheduled that weekend (Chance is at Wakarusa week before, Pretty Lights is in NY the week after). Here's hoping.
It actually kind of looks like someone took an Instagram picture and blew it up. That would explain why it's so pixelated.

Tripperfish nails this good, super fake. If I was making a fake I'd also lead with an attention-grabbing headliner for hype-trolling, a "secret" detail for "credibility", and just the right balance of known artist at the farm and a couple headscratching adds just to throw people off the trail.

plus snarky puppy is in california every single day of bonnaroo, so at least one of the people on that poster won't be there.
They have a mostly roatating cast of touring musicians. No telling who will be drumming with them in California. He is a phenomenal drummer in an extremely impressive band. They would be great at Roo.

Yea, typically how we used to do fake lineup posters was to take some elements of the real/current Bonnaroo design. I couldn't figure out what the background image was, though. Good detective work

actually, you are right. he isn't listed as being with them at the SF Jazz fest. They would be excellent at roo.
Chances are you'll be able to hear both due to the ever non resolving problem of the which stage bleeding into every other tent
