What - Deadmau5 1200-230 Which - STS9 100-300 This - EW&F 1200-130 > Run The Jewels 200-330 That - MMSW 1200-300 Other - FlyLo 1200-130 > Odesza 200-330
Which - Bassnectar 1200-200 This - Superjam 100-300 That - D'Angelo 1200-200 > Slayer 230-400 Other - Tycho 1200-130 > Flume 200-400
I'm having a tough time with Saturday. I suppose the superjam could be by itself in a tent, but Slayer > D'Angelo, or vice versa, just seems kind of crazy. But I'd think Flume and Tycho would be a pairing.
EDIT: I think Roo's LN choices are pretty solid. Subjectively I'd much prefer MMSW afternoon That. In an afternoon slot it'd be an interesting jazz set, LN it will be a snooze fest. EWF will be fun no matter what but I'd prefer them day time since I'm positive they'll conflict with someone LN.

I don't understand you guys putting Odesza as the LN tent closer. They only have one album right? I seem them as getting the Disclosure treatment this year. FlyLo, STS9, and MMSW seem much more likely to get the sunrise sets. All 3 of those are actually capable of playing for 3+ hours.
E: RTJ as well. Although RTJ at like 2:30 would be insane, and they could each do their solo stuff to extend the set. I just like to reserve those LN tent closing sets to acts that can jam all night.
Wonder if deadmau5 will start unopposed and then have acts start up in the middle of his set. That Friday late night is going to be such a cluster fuck.

Agreed, I think odesza>sts9 is one tent, rtj>flylo another, ewf>msmw the other.

I would have to assume something will start towards the end of his set. I just dont think there will be a set on the Which until after Mau5 wraps up (if at all that night)
Also STS9 playing the last set of the night on the Which will clear out the way for some extended tent sets as well.
Says who? He's listed as a Late Night act and not a headliner. Which stage EWF set totally possible.
even if they ran the Which during a late night what, (they wont) EWF isn't nearly big enough for that.
EW&F is pretty legendary. I know they might not have all the awesome members they used to have, but they're still really popular. They currently have more people scheduled to see them than Bassnectar, My Morning Jacket, and most of the lineup. Even though EW&F probably won't get the Which Stage (because I've given up being optimistic) they are definitely big enough for it.

in all honesty, I see EWF being packed at the start, and really empty by the end. tons of people have them as adds, but I don't think they are going to have that "hardcore fan" contingent that a lot of others have during LN with the general bonnaroo LN demographic. after the third or fourth song I bet their tent clears out quite a bit. No way they could hold down which LN, imo.

I was thinking maybe Deadmau5 plays from 1130-130, with tent acts starting in the 1230-1 range?

This justifies their placement on the lineup pretty well

As soon as they play September I'd say 1/4, maybe even 1/3 of the crowd leaves. Which is sad because they have so many hits that I can't wait to hear. Oh well, more room for me to groove!

I'm hoping it goes something like Kendrick 9-11 and Mau5 12-2 with Tears For Fears playing the Which from 10:30-12 and the LN tents starting at 12:30 or 1.

they have 3 albums. and how many LN closers have actually "jammed all night" ? pretty lights & kaskade. 1 per year. not each tent closer is going to play until sunrise. I'm not seeing your point, here.

It might not happen, but placing artists as closers who have the potential to do sunrise is much more exciting.. i think that's what he meant. Bc any artist could be like fuck it let's do this.

STS9 will likely play until Sunrise this year. They seem the obvious choice.
