I am not a fan of STS9 unless they are live. I just saw them again at BUKU, but the problem was it was still daylight. We just sat by the break dancers and watched them groove out. It was actually perfect. IMO, they are definitely a night time show just because of their lights, but they aren't bad music. I will probably check them out for a bit (if they aren't conflicting with RTJ or Odesza) and then head to the silent disco as well. I am not about seeing them jam out all night long.
Trying to check out their catalog right now. Can you throw some comparable bands/groups out there that I may have gotten into previously?
I'm not the only one who thinks the LN selections are the tops, right?! For once, I think they picked the right stuff for LN!
Screwing over Caribou and SBTRKT(again) are my only complaints. Overall, Roo did a pretty great job, and I think they have figured out not to make the infamous "unchained" mistake again.
Whatever you think about Umph or STS9 on record (I never listen to either of those bands unless I'm seeing them live), if you can't enjoy a LN sunrise set from UM or STS9 at Roo live in person, then I just flat out feel sorry for you.

I know right? I'm not even a huge jam band guy, but until you've seen said jam band in a live setting, you've really got no room to talk. That is their element.

Really hope sts9 & ewf don't conflict. Other than that, ill prolly end up running around like a mad man during the rest of the late nights per usual. I always make a schedule but never stick to it when the time comes.

Seriously though, how fucking crazy awesome is RTJ > FlyLo going to be. What do ya'll think of the chance that Kendrick will show up at FlyLo's set for 'Never Catch Me'? I put it around 30%, as it kinda seems to good to be true and stuff like that never seems to happen.

STS9 shouldnt be an issue as they play way into the morning. My plan is to head To their tent after running around all night with all the other conflicts set to take place. Ideal situation be
Mau5 > RTJ > FlyLo > Catch a bit of MMSW if possible > End it with STS9

I think chances are better of FlyLo showing up at Kendrick for it.
