geez dude, no. 20th wedding anniversary, you will have been married for twenty years. but lets assume you had a "wedding" every year on that date. you would have your 21st "wedding" on your 20th anniversary. so celebrating the 15th bonnaroo is not the same as celebrating the 15th anniversary.
edit: i spent a long time debating whether to post that, because I honestly couldn't tell if you were just trolling or not.
Yea, I get it. People are gonna keep saying it though. We live in word where words aren't used correctly anymore. I can't tell you how many times a day I hear "Can I?", instead of "May I?". You won't ever see Bonnaroo labeling their fest with the word "anniversary". They would just say "15 years of Magic" or something like that.
The blue light drop wasn't about the Anniversary. It was just a weird marketing thing. Was definitely really cool though. I remember the reactions from everyone around me just pointing up and wondering WTF was going on.
Yeah, what exactly was it? I've only heard very confused stories about it from friends who were there and, from what I've heard, it was very awesome, but that's all I know about it

Here's a video of it.
Was the best and weirdest unexplained thing I've ever seen happen at a festival or concert. And that's saying a lot.
Thee Oh Sees last tour date shows Athens Grece June 6th.
There's still a chance
Oh my Boner, I ought to slap you silly for getting my hopes up like this. Thee Oh Sees have firmly been stored in the drawer labeled, "I'll believe it when I see it"!
*devilishly rubs hands together, a sly grin twisting across his face, as he remembers that Saturday LN seems to be about a band or two short...*

Oh man a late night TOS addition would reallllllllly be a game changer for me. And conflict creator.

So I won tickets to Ryan Adams and Jenny Lewis tonight at the Tobacco show(which was great). I won the tickets because I knew the movies Jenny played in as a kid. For some reason, no one knew. Anyways Ryan Adams is also the group Playing the main stage before Tame Impala at Shaky Knees, which I'll be waiting front and center for, so I'll definitely be there already during Adams. Something is telling me I gotta see him I guess. Ive never listened to this guy before this week and he seems kind of like Tom Petty.Am I getting that right?
At first I thought it was just Chris Pratt + the velociraptors vs the GMO dinosaur, but now it looks like the GMO dinosaur learns to recruit it's own army.

The new park is on a different part of the island from the original movies. So the other section is walled off but still has the dinosaurs/raptors/whatever from the first trilogy. At some point the trained raptors could cross paths with the wild raptors.
Unlikely, but wondering if we get a few additions that are overlapping with Shaky Knees and therefore won't be announced till after that fest is finished... Very doubtful, but the thought crossed my mind.

Figured they probably would have mentioned it as part of the Ready 2 Roo release, but wondering if anything gets announced in conjunction with the parties tonight.

Makes sense to me. Seems like a smart business decision to announce bands that would attract people in the region to your festival after they've already gone to another festival and seen all of those bands. What could go wrong with that plan?

I was trying to figure out why they didn't announce the Spiritualized 3 hour late night show?! Thanks!
I was told last night that there won't be anymore stage/tent additions. A little disappointed, but maybe will have a few more longer sets this year to fill in the gap.
