Those are new stages announced a couple of weeks ago.
Silly me not keeping up with the breaking news and deleting those emails that don't uave artist addition or schedule headlines. Can you fill me in on the deets? I'll look it up later.
My app does not show me that. Both the When and Where have:
Nothing here yet. Check back soon. Don't worry, each time you open the app, it checks for the latest information available.

New stages? Odd, yet intriguing. I dont remember an announcement though.
I have it on my instagram, and I can't atach the picture cuz I'm at work. It's miguel_alva90 if interested. Looking at the picture it was included in the Communion label artists announcement, however looking at the website it seems like the Who stage isn't part of the announcement anymore.

Seems that way. I get the Communion thing, and like the premise for the future. Do you remember if The Who stage announcement had any kind of info? Im guessing it will be a smaller stage anyway, and nothing is worst than The Miller Light A. Beer and B. Stage at Roo

I'm sure those are some good acts. I checked out Raury when he was announced and he was OK. I didn't remember him being part of the Communion thing. It looks like Son Little has been highly taughted by NPR and Bear's Den has opened for Mumford. Little May looks interesting too. I've heard of Rubblebucket but never actually listened to them. Seems like some of these would have been cafe acts in the past.
I am glad there aren't going to be many conflicts for me this year except probably during the sets right before the headliners.

With less acts, it would be best to just start the What stage later. There is no need to have it open until 5. There is never a big crowd for anyone they have on that stage early, and it always makes it seem underwhelming also. It also spreads the Center- Roo crowd to thin in the day when it's not filled up. That would cut down like 2-3 acts a day. For the LN acts, it's usually 7 acts on Saturday night, so having 6 isn't a big difference. That just means 1 act plays longer, and that doesn't even need to happen. As people have already said here, plenty of sets have been 1:30-3:00 and done, with no following act.

Yes, the way to spread the crowds thinner is to shut down the largest stage. Must be why Thursdays and late-nights always feel oh so roomy.

I want the crowds to be larger. I said having the big stage open when its slower thins the crowd out. I dont want to spread crowds thinner, I wanna do the opposite. There really is no point to have a decent sized artist being wasted on a huge stage, that even if a decent amount of people show up to, it still looks like a small crowd compared to if that act was in a tent.

Eh, I wouldn't go that far.
While I'd personally have smaller crowds for a more intimate show, there is something to be said about the energy/buzz of a very large crowd (assuming they're all into it too). The energy of a large crowd can definitely be electrifying.
