I want the crowds to be larger. I said having the big stage open when its slower thins the crowd out. I dont want to spread crowds thinner, I wanna do the opposite. There really is no point to have a decent sized artist being wasted on a huge stage, that even if a decent amount of people show up to, it still looks like a small crowd compared to if that act was in a tent.

I don't think it'll happen, but just to fuel the dumpster fire.. If we were going to get any more halfway-big artist additions (we're not), seems like today would be the day. Announce LiveNation's controlling interest and then follow it up with a big name add that gives people some confidence that maybe LiveNation will mean deeper pockets/bigger pull.

Didn't they say pretty explicitly during that Billboard interview that Live Nation wouldn't have an impact on this year?

Kinda crazy that Roo threw all of their Friday rock music across three or four different stages before 5 p.m. It works for me because I wanted to see most of them and get to other than choosing between Brown Sabbath and Pallbearer. But if someone wanted other choices, there aren't many.

Can't wait for them to announce the Jurassic World premier on Friday!!!! People keep complaining/wondering why there is a completely dead hour Friday night between Kendrick and Mau5... It's for JW in the cinema tent!!! I can't wait!

I'm surprised they aren't screening the new Kurt Cobain documentary but otherwise a pretty solid lineup. I wish I could make it to that Birdman screening

Birdman with the live drumming should be sweet. You can also see Corey Feldman's band or just spend the whole day watching Corey Feldman movies. What's with HBO Programming TBA? Are they just going to turn the channel to HBO for that time period.

Yeah I was wondering about that too. Especially because almost all the best shows on HBO are on Sunday nights which is the only time they don't have it
I was in LOVE with Corey Feldman in the 90s. I am not sure missing the Districts and having to run to Royal Bloods is worth his Q&A and Goonies thing though.
