Ha, well the explanation COS gave in the comments on the page was that:

So looks like this was a total half assed cut and paste job of some sort. Not sure what they could have accidentally pulled a Bonnaroo date from for Modest Mouse if they haven't been since 2005. I too wonder if this wasn't perhaps intentional in a cheap way to get some page counts and page recognition. Just doesn't seem plausible to have been accidental all things considered.
I agree they are due and was expecting them on the lineup, especially since AC has them at Forecastle. Was expecting the Pixies too since they are with Robert Plant. But I just can't expect any significant lineup additions at this point a month out.

This group has been added. They're scheduled to open the Who Stage Thursday. I'll probably check it out. It's not like anything else is going on this year at 5:30 pm on the opening day of the fest.

I'm personally ecstatic about the Sturgill move. My friend and I want to be on a different plane of existence during his show, but we typically take it really easy on Sundays. That solved quite the moral dilemma.
Originally he was Sunday afternoon in the middle of the Bluegrass tent. I wonder if he'll still be involved in the jam. Punch Brothers are in his spot now, I think they may have done a straight swap but not 100%
sturgill moved to saturday between bahams and atomic bomb. atomic bomb is now completely in conflict with MMJ. everything before sturgill was moved up earlier in the day.
Jerry douglass took Sturgill's spot. the lonesome trio plays at 7:45 before bluegram superjam, which was extended to an hour from 8:00-9:00

I feel like attendance is going to be WAYYY low this year. The schedule shift, later start times and shortened sets seem to all point that direction.
As an attendee, I wouldn't mind it. As a fan, it concerns me that competition might be getting the best of this great festival in the middle of nowhere.
This Sturgill switch kills me. Not only does it mean I won't see him because he's during Gary Clark Jr., but there's nothing I really want to see in that time slot. I guess I can wander around or go back to camp or something. I might come back for part of Spoon, mostly so I can try to get pit for Florence.
Luckily I'll have the chance to see Sturgill at Newport. But that switch still bums me out.

Not a spoon fan? Saw them in December and it was great. Honestly that show pushed me to see spoon>sturgill even tho I've never seen sturgill.

It's almost like they are eliminating competition during Spoon to try and get a decent crowd over to the What Stage. As much as I love them, I don't see them being a huge draw on the main stage.
I'll be glad when they announce the open spot at Other for early Saturday. There's nothing I'm really wanting to see in that time slot right now.

I saw them at Boston Calling in September and wasn't too impressed. I don't know them that well although I do like the most recent labum. But this might push me to dig into their stuff a little more.

This is my other option. I'd still need something to do for an hour after Hiss Golden Messenger because I'm not a big Bela Fleck fan, but I'm fine doing some wandering. I didn't get a real chance to do that last year.
