Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I know Earth Wind & Fire isn't very far up on the lineup but them getting anything other than the Lionel Richie spot would make me sad. They need to be playing while the sun is going down and the Which Stage doesn't make sense for them.
I agree whole heartedly. Unfortunately, I fear them getting an early set similar to Yonder Moutain did last year or the 6:30 What set Al Green got in 2009. Who knows. I guess we will find out in May.
So it looks like Hozier is playing Friday. Judging by his place on the lineup, I could see him closing the Which before Kendrick, or because of the two headliners, maybe even pre-HL What. He just seems so little low-energy for either of those spots.

didn't Bon Iver pre-HL Sunday in 2012, I mean that's as low energy as it gets

Yes they did and actually kicked ass, rocked a lot harder than you'd expect. Plus you're talking about closing the which on SUNDAY, a day that a lot of people want to be rather laid back and chill, not Friday which is the first major of the fest and everything is really starting get going before you roll on through the headliner into the latenight

Well let's just all hope Hozier rises to the occasion whether or not any of us see his set.

Is Hozier as which closer a lock? I was hoping for something cool, especially since I'm struggling to get into Billy Joel

If the schedule adds on the Bonnaroo website are any indication, his crowd will be a little smaller than Phoenix who closed Friday Which last year (est. 35,000 - ridiculously rough estimate). So it seems realistic to me.

It still shocks me that, that many people like him.
I don't think he is bad. I liked "take me to church" the first bit i heard it. I'm sick of it. I won't be at his set just because most people will. freeing up a good spot at a set that I am sure I would enjoy more. Not knocking him. If there are no conflicts during his set I will probably grub, listen from a distance, and nap.

I want to do a mock but with us missing 20+ artists, it seems like its still too early.
We are getting a large amount of additions this year. There's almost no way around it, even if its less than before. But another ten or so names would really help fill in the blanks.

As epic as RTJ LN would be, I'm starting to think they'll be in the midday like Danny Brown which would be just as awesome. Also, less conflicts. However, this is Bonnaroo where conflicts always exist.
Curious when Awolnation will play, because I want to switch it up and see some acts that will be apart of the Bluegrass Situation. I missed the BS last year, and I heard nothing but rave reviews. Hurray for the riff Raff, Pokey LaFarge, Shakey Graves are all apart of that jam. I want to see all of them.

I know everyone will hate your Friday night conflict-a-roo but it makes sense. Other than Ben Folds, who will definitely be during the day somewhere (but I appreciate your creativity).
What I love is your Saturday night Slayer > STS9 because that is exactly how I want it to go down.
Kind of hoping for RTJ in the Wu-Tang Spot, Which Pre HL. Don't think it would happen but it would be tight.
EDIT: Kind of worried about your Saturday during the day. That is some boring ass stuff. Day tents best be hoppin' if thats all the Which/What will have to offer.

I'd proably die if MMJ and RTJ conflicted and MMJ started on the Which exactly when Dedmau5 ended. This would mean leaving Mau5 early for a decent spot because showing up at Which when the crowd is full just sucks. Can't see anything... had to watch Cake sitting from behind the side wall and looking at the big screen last year.

I like this better, now that I think about it :
Fri LN :
Which - MMJ ( 1am - ?????....sun up) This : Tears For Fears(Midnight - 130am)>>>SuperJam( 2 -330am) That : Run The Jewels (1230am-2am) >>> SBTRKT( 245-415am) Other : Flume ( 1am-215am) >>> Grammatik(245-430am)
Sat LN :
Which - Bassnectar ( 1am-4am) This - Ben Folds and YM(1230-2am)>>>>SuperJam(230-430am) That - Slayer( 1230-2am)>>>>Tyco ( 230-4am) Other - Fly Lo (1230-2am)>>>> STS9(230-430am)
Bleh, I'm becoming more and more nervous (but convinced) that RTJ and MMJ will conflict. What do you think is the strategic value in going to most of RTJ and then going over to MMJ - under the assumption that Jacket will play past a 90ish minute set marker?
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Anybody working on any mocks? I'm terrible at making them but love reading them.
I'm currently doing one for Shaky Knees but when I finish it I want to do another one for Roo and really change around a lot of my acts. So I'll post one tomorrow that we can analyze/panic about conflicts

What a curveball if Mumford was Fri, Kendrick/Mau5 was Sat, and Kendrick wasn't unopposed. Or if it stays as is, what if Alabama Shakes and Ben Harper were back to back on Which (with one of them opposing Kendrick). Hozier before Kendrick. All this is slim, but in theory could/would work.
