I just signed up for CBB World and am subscribing to the podcasts on my phone but also was able to subscribe to CBB in iTunes again and if all goes well it looks like i'll be able to get back those files that I lost previously. So that's working out for me. Just need to reorganize some of my computer storage.
Also looks like the first "Scott hasn't seen" episode is up with Sprague the Whisperer (or maybe just Shaun Diston?) watching the movie Space Jam. Very excited for the future of CBB World. Hoping for more, new Bob Ducca, Mike Detective, and other side-character specials and limited run podcasts. Give me a Calvin Twins/Triplets 6 episode mini-series.
last week's episode of scott hasn't seen (space jam 2 with sean and hayes) is up for free in the hollywood handbook feed. it's a good one, if you don't want to subscribe to cbb world but want a feel for the show.

Flagrant Ones episode available un-paywalled. It starts with just Hayes and Carl (with Andy) but Sean joins in at some point. He just had a baby so it makes sense.
Some hilarious stories about everyone getting suspended/in trouble in school to start the first like 15-20 minutes. Sean's story of getting in trouble but telling the truth was great.
This is basically what you get if you've never experienced the Flagrant Ones. They talk basketball but mostly just bullshit and make themselves bust up.

Not sure if any of you have started the new season of Heavyweight yet, but I have listened to the second episode of this season no less than 4 times. #37 John.
It has become one of my top five favorite episodes of this emotion-packed podcast. For anyone who is new to Heavyweight, the premise is allowing people to share "the moment everything changed". Pivotal experiences in their lifetime that they have not been able to move past. People they encountered who had a major impact on them, but then their life's map split off into different roads. Jonathan Goldstein does a brilliant job of narrating and oxygenating the story, reconnecting the subject with the people and moments that have completely altered their tapestry. I have no idea why I continue to listen to these while I am trying to work, only to end up sobbing uncontrollably nearly everytime.
This episode spotlights John Green, the YA author who some may recognize for writing "The Fault in Our Stars". I recommend it especially to anyone whose faith had been shaken by loss. That is where it resonated with me.
I can't recall a single episode that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. But a few that I highly recommend are: #12 Jesse #27 Scott #16 Rob #2 Gregor
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

It's truly fucking stupid how much this meeting of a dog (and his owner) and the actor Titus Welliver (BOSCH) means to me. I shouldn't feel happiness about an actor meeting a dog but here I am.
getting into this "60 Songs That Explain the '90s" pod. i've only listened to a few episodes but the ones on "Hey Jealousy", "C.R.E.A.M.", and "November Rain" were all great. It's hosted by Rob Harvilla, music critic at The Ringer. He's got a real skill for radio. The episodes start with a monologue from Rob, then he speaks with a guest about the song, then they play the song (helpful for the show to be on Spotify for this). The best part is the monologue, he really digs into the history of the artist and what led to that particular song.
November Rain and C.R.E.A.M. were great. Even though I knew a lot about GNR and Wu-Tang i still learned some new stuff. But "Hey Jealousy" was my favorite so far, it's a song I've casually enjoyed but I didn't know a lot about the Gin Blossoms.
excited to have lots of episodes of this pod to listen to.
i wasn't expecting new gourley and rust so soon after matt's wife having a baby, but there are new episodes starting next week. my dreams are coming true and they're finally covering scream leading up to the new one! 11/26 - silent night deadly night. 12/03 - jack frost (1997). 12/10 - christmas evil. 12/17 - eyes wide shut. 12/31 - scream. 1/7 - scream 2. 1/14 - scream 3. 1/21 - scream 4. 1/28 - scream (2022).

This and all the recent CBBWorld stuff has me excited. Threedom is back and now on CBBWorld. They just announced CBBFM which is going to be Scott and guests just talking about and playing music like old radio shows? I haven't listened yet but I'm intrigued.
I'm behind on Andy Daly stuff....there's just too much to go around.
Excited for Gourley and Rust because I don't think I've seen any of those (besides the Screams).

i've been loving everything on cbb world. we listened to cbb fm today while driving around and christmas decorating and it was great background listening. scott and scott each played a bunch of songs then had their normal banter in between. they said it'll probably be a monthly thing, and it's definitely a welcome addition to the rotation.
That's cool they're doing Eyes Wide Shut. I decided last year I was going to watch it every year on Christmas, but I forgot that most Christmases my family is around, so I guess I have to watch it after the grandparents go to bed.
Been wanting to watch Jack Frost for awhile, so that's a good enough reason to.

i've never seen it, glad to have an excuse to finally watch it so i can listen to a 4 hour conversation about it.

Always Sunny Podcast is fun so far. One of the few ones I've dipped my toe into outside of formerly earwolf/mostly independent stuff now like CBBWorld, Hollywood Handbook, Big Grande junk, Gourley and Rust, etc.
Like some early podcasts the first episode is just them talking and making jokes about not knowing what to talk about and not having a format or anythign but that will come in time. It's the 3 main guys from Sunny discussing episodes but then other random junk.

Been listening to The Gateway about spiritual "catalyst" Teal Swan. It's a couple years old, but I haven't been big on podcasts historically. Love cult stuff, and I knew zero about her going into it. It was just a recommendation on a list I pulled up on Google. Really enjoying it as he's focusing on the larger social things going on rather than dwelling just in the sensationalism surrounding her story.
for anyone looking for something a little different, I've be enjoying a podcast called "Revolutions". it's a long running podcast (since 2013 i think) where the host walks you through various revolutions in history.
i'm in the first season now, which is the English Civil Wars, really the build up to the Glorious Revolution. very interesting and entertaining. i personally get lost when he does an episode on the actual battles etc., but even with those he includes enough character studies to keep me interested. but the episodes on the politics, parliamentary shenanigans, kings, economics and taxation, that kind of stuff is right up my alley.
best part is the episodes run about 20 minutes. easier to absorb in bite sized chunks, so it doesn't fall into the Hardcore History thing where you have like a 5 hour podcast episode you never finish. Also the host keeps things pretty light and humorous, despite the seriousness of the subject matter. he's just a good storyteller.
