598.41 miles from Baton Rouge, LA. It usually takes us 9 hours or so. We'll probably leave around midnight Wednesday and get to Manchester around 9:30-10am Thursday, eat some Wendy's, and then get in line on the highway
"White collar conservative flashin down the street, pointing that plastic finger at me, they all assume my kind will drop and die, but I'm gonna wave my freak flag high." Jimi Hendrix
"We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, movie gods, and rock stars. But we wont, and we're slowly learning that fact & we're very, very pissed off......."
train to NYC - 40 min. Bus to DC about 5 hrs. Train to Leesburg to meet my friend - forgot how long, i think about 40 min. An then finally, about 10 hrs (or less) of drive to Manchester
Google maps claims 10 hours but my buddies say its more like 12..
Yeah It says 10 from where I live, never made it less than 12 hours, usually hit very heavy traffic for a while in knoxville on I-40, this past year we also hit big time traffic near the I-75/I-24 interchange in Chattanooga

In 2002 My wife and I drove out from Lake Havasu, AZ - A 2-1/2 day treck that was followed by a 10-hour wait in lne from 9pm to dawn. By the time we got in we were exausted. The next year 3 of us drove from Tucson AZ with similar results. We've flown every year since and it is so much easier it's not even funny, but I think I would swim to Bonnaroo if I had to.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
