Rummy - Farris was hell bent for a while there to kill your inspector... and therefore he was doing more for the mafia win than the mafia.

I’ve seen mention of my different approach to further rounds of the game and I figured I’d explain why. I’ve been going back and forth on when to say anything, but I have two things going on tonight, a busy work day tomorrow, then I’ll be out of town for my chorus competition Thursday-Sunday.
I was going to wait til later in the day to do this, but with so much happening in my personal life, I wanted to just get it out there so the town can stop chasing dead ends.
Truth is, I feel like this:

I'm glad that my style of play made me just suspicious enough to allow the mafia to use me as a distraction, yet not so suspicious that the town lynched me. I was getting pretty nervous there for a while, though. Before I get close to the chopping block again and this post looks like a last ditch effort to save myself, I'm coming out.

This is funny. I SUCK as a player because I am convinced everyone is Mafia. But KJ you are one of the very few players I know mafia or not within a page or so.
'Ya'll' I did not know who was who until night one when the PM's came in. Had to hold my breath and hope no one figured that out and try to PM me some bullshit to get clues.

I know this was my inaugural game in this format (ie online) and so maybe I don't have the ~expertise~ exactly to comment on this - but goddamn surf and bogart were quite mafia members (until the end/they had fingers pointed at them). 2/3 almost completely mute mafia...

I have to give kudos to the ballsy mafia moves towards the end. You guys almost had me by NOT whacking me. Way to twist the town's mind!
Yeah Jaz was pretty convincing for a while there. At the beginning, I truly thought he was town - when i stated that I believed no one in that first four person run off was mafia, I meant it. About the only thing I had right early on was that the uber quiet ones in the game were not to be trusted.

I thought he was townie too for a long time. I'm still not exactly sure what it was that made me start looking his way and guess him, but I'm glad I did.

It really came down to Bogart and Surf just not providing much content, neither went over 1 total page when looking at individuals posts. It didnt feel right siding with them. And after going over your posts and all the stuff from day 2 onward I felt good that you were telling the truth. Sorry again for giving you so much shit. Glad we could come together for the win! Ill see you and everyone at brunch for sure!
As for me, I will probably be taking a semi long break like Jim, probably till after roo.

It was similar for me, I had a difficult time believing Krissy wasn't inspector but that in itself wasn't enough. Bogart didn't provide enough detail and surf only made a few posts but didn't take long at all to answer my question directed at him however didn't tag him (meaning no notification)
