Catching a lot of start-to-finish sets this year, actually. Thursday: Unlocking, Strand of Oaks, Iceage, Houndmouth, Courtney Barnett. Friday: Pallbearer, Tanya Tagaq, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Alabama Shakes, Kendrick, Flying Lotus. Saturday: So Percussion, Songhoy Blues, The War on Drugs, MMJ, D'Angelo. Sunday: Hiss Golden Messenger, Spoon, Robert Plant, Billy Joel.
I can't believe how committed some of you are to seeing multiple full sets during the day in the sun and then being able to stand during late sets that carry until 5am. Drugs wake me up for late night, but damn they sure do ruin the day.
Saturday: Priory Catfish & the Bottlemen Bahamas Hozier Belle & Sebastian Childish Gambino SuperJam !
Sunday: Knox Hamilton Spoon Florence + the Machine Billy Joel
Now, these aren't all must sees, but some of them just fall in times where I'm not seeing anything to trump it on the schedule. Who knows where I will actually end up.
This one breaks my fucking heart! I REALLY wanted to see her set but she is opposite King Gizzard....It's the toughest lineup decision I'm making this year. I got to see Pallbearer play in the basement of a Baptist church w/ LoveLuckLaughtereasymorningrebel and Whoreshack and seeing them in any other surrounding will never be as awesome as that was so I'm not quite as broken up about missing them over Brownout.

It's a marathon not a race! I actually take way better care of myself and my health while I'm at Bonnaroo than I do the other 360 days of the year. There's just too much at stake & I don't want to miss a thing!
EDIT: I most certainly waive my freak flag at the late nights but during the day I'm very conscious of how far I'm pushing myself. Lots of water/Gatorade & make sure I'm eating enough calories to compensate for the booze. Once the sun goes down all bets are off. For the last few years I've gone I've actually never been hung over during the fest.
King Gizz Atmosphere Tears for Fears Kendrick Lamar (assuming I can bolt to What Stage fast enough) Run the Jewels
Nothing on Saturday or Sunday I could say with certainty I'd see every minute of. I mean, I'd definitely be at Spoon > Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - but whether I'd see the end of Spoon or the beginning of Madlib would have to be an in-the-moment decision. That kind of thing.
I was hoping there wouldn't be that many people excited about the districts.
Shit.
There aren't very many people excited about The Districts, you're just on inforoo so the smallest, most obscure bands get the mots hype.that'd be like thinking Goat was going to have the highest attendance of any show last year. Don't worry man, it's just gonna be a bunch of inforoosters hanging

You're crazy. Excited or not, they're the only act playing on a major stage before 2 p.m. There show will be full of people anxious to see music of any kind.

I don't think so man. I, personally, am very excited for this show and I'm quite convinced it'll be underattended. I guess we shall see, I hope I'm right cause I don't wanna deal with a huge crowd during a show so early

I will have my inflatable unicorn on hand, inforoo united! Just like at Goat, for some reason? Goat was the biggest gathering of inforoosters I experienced last year.
Solid 2000 people added for their show Fore. It may very well be crowded. That's the most added show until Soja and Royal Blood later that afternoon.
Damnit, well, I hope a lot of people decide it's too early for them and opt out. Oh well, I'll just chill in the back. I'm really just concerned about getting a good spot for King Gizz

This show is going to be awesome no matter how many are in attendance. I also think that 2000 might have added them, but after late nights not that many will be there. I saw them last year open for White Denim ... So fucking good. I have decided to not miss them and will miss the trainwreck that is Corey Fieldman instead.

Thurs late nights don't go that late though - we'll see. I'll be there regardless!

The Districts are a must see. I'll be in Centeroo scoping out the tent for crowd attendance way before they start. Need to get a good spot for this show.
