Forgive me if this has been taken care of, and I highly suspect it as, but I have not found a thread for it..
Can someone give me an estimate of how long it would take to walk from each stage/tent to others (not during peak times of course)? This will be my first Roo and I'm trying to figure out how early I would need to leave certain sets to still catch the ends of others, etc. I appreciate any input!
1/30: Cold War Kids
2/6: Cherub
4/22: The Mountain Goats
5/25: Laura Jane Grace "Killing Me Loudly"
5/31: The Decemberists

I would estimate that the furthest point from the What Stage field , to the other tent is about 1km.getting from tent to tent doesnt take any more than 2-5 minutes. you'll be able to get around and see everything you want to see, as long as seeing full sets is not a priority for you.
Assuming that it's not right before or after a headliner you can usually get from What to The Other Tent in about ten minutes or so. The congestion around headliners can lead to it almost doubling. On the plus side, you do get to hear lots of people mooing...

I have warm memories of following a Stark banner from the What to a late night with people cheering King In The North over and over.
I've heard good things. I just like less of a body count in shows that I invest in. I'll accept a death or two of someone I like every now and then but I don't like investing in characters only to have them die a few episodes later. It's my issue. Add it to the list of shows that everyone on Inforoo loves but I have little interest in like The Wire and Breaking Bad.

Wow...if I see anyone with ANY kind of GoT banner I'd switch my allegiance from the Starks to whatever they are carrying (with the exception of House Bolton) to march behind it!

I told my wife tonight that if she buys me a Lannister banner for Roo, I'll quit team Stark. Lol.

I will follow you if you bring a Lannister banner. I always get Lannister in GoT quizzes and we know those are scientificly accurate.

If it makes you feel any better, I haven't seen the show either. I have read the first 3 books though. I was that douche that spoiled the red wedding for everyone.

Last year I spent a lot of unnecessary time walking between the tents because I couldn't remember which one was which (neither are which, in fact). Everytime I pulled out the map, people would come running up asking to look at it, too. I guess we were all first timers. With that being said, I didn't catch as many sets as I had hoped to see but you'll be fine, promise! Whatcha your schedule looking like? Are they all really close together and in different stages?

That's the sort of behavior that's punishable by giving you to Ramsay as a play thing.
To be fair, tons of people thanked me for spoiling it. They didn't know when it would happen, just that it would happen. And they were still shocked but claimed it would've been way worse if they weren't mentally prepared for it. I did watch some clips online of people's reactions to the red wedding scene and that was hilarious. Good times.

You seem way too proud about potentially ruining a TV show for people.

Holy shit. Because of the hat and piss thing, I might remember which is That and This at my 7th Bonnaroo.

You, sir, are a saint. I have the names down without looking now, but that took damn near 5 years to fully sink into my brain!

I would, if it didn't make so much more sense.
Fuck the Imperial measurements.
Down with pounds! Up with ________(some metric unit that rhymes with "up")!

Which really is a bitch. I always have such high hopes and then end up salty.
A+ dynamite on the memory tricks, 3post1jack1. To echo others, this might be the first time in my 5 years that I actually remember the order of the tents thanks to you!
