Gold bond. Vets know this, but if you are a first timer, even if you don't normally use gold bond, even if you've never purchased it in your life, get some. If your ass/thighs/crotch area begins to chafe painfully, liberally apply gold bond.
I also never go without some TravelJohns. Mostly because once I hit traffic I always end up having to pee really really bad. Also great for just peeing in a crowd.

Goldbond saves lives.
They also offer a product in stick form:
Sometimes that's easier then trying to powder your balls. Goldbond usually ends up everywhere in that scenario, at least with me it does.

probably something i should pick up on the way. usually i'm alright but there has been day or two where the ole bunghole is pretty sore
I check it's in my bag three times before leaving. Then two more times at the airport. Then once on the plane. Then when I land. Then a few more times.

I'm assuming it's not a good idea to put it on your wrist now? I'm driving and i'm tempted to put it on now.

As soon as I am done with work it is getting put on my wrist.

I just put it on before I leave the house.
I do what you describe above with Phish tickets though. It's a ritual with me and my number one show buddy for him to scrutinize the tickets obsessively as we pull out of his driveway after I pick him up.

Trash bags & ziploc bags. They have many uses at bonnaroo (keeping things dry, keeping things organized, keeping dirty things away from clean things) and you can always take home whatever you don't use!
If you have never been to Tennessee then it would probably be a good idea to pack something for allergies.
There are times in my life that I am glad that I take daily allergy medicines. I always bring the emergency stuff, but usually because of how strong my daily doses are and how bad my allergies are, I usually don't have issues in a new environment as long as I don't miss my regular dose.

There's no shame in putting it on early and rocking it all week. I haven't yet, put I think I'll probably put it on before I leave the house on Wednesday. Thought about doing it when it came in the mail, but my friends and coworkers are surely already sick of hearing about "that hippie thing," or "your singing thing," as one person called it.
first aid kit/bandaids. mostly in case your shoes aren't as comfortable as you think they are, after walking around all day. you don't want blisters ruining your days!

So true! These band-aids are great for blisters, they stay on REALLY well and keep the dirt/moisture out, even on your feet.
If u can find them, one thing that is essential for me at feats now has become a lighter leash.... Clips on to your belt and hangs off, I clip it onto my camelback... Nothing worse than someone copping your lighter...
ooh, an extra set of car keys. last year, our key somehow got bent and wouldn't fit into the ignition, but luckily we had a spare. don't leave the extra in your car. and if you get any kind of motion sickness, take a bonine or dramamine about an hour before your trip. bonine saves me every year, or it would be a completely miserable drive.
While packing you should also be drinking that sweet sweet H2O. Continue to hydrate now to hopefully help avoid falling out at the Roo. Esp with the warmer temps and humidity they are calling for it can sneak up and grab you real quick.
