Dan'ROO & thesidebar I'm thinking there about to open registration very soon. Since Bonnaroo I've been watching the user stats, this was the last snap shot I grabbed
General statistics (last updated on Sun, 28th Jun 2015, at 17:16 GMT):
Registered users: 65,312 New within 24 hrs.: 0 Unconfirmed: 0 Ratio > 1.0: 18,168 Ratio < 0.25: 13,103
And now
General statistics (last updated on Thu, 16th Jul 2015, at 19:56 GMT):
Registered users: 65,304 New within 24 hrs.: 0 Unconfirmed: 0 Ratio > 1.0: 18,175 Ratio < 0.25: 13,161
So 8 people have been pruned from the registered users. Not allot of slots open but I'd keep checking on a daily basis. From the there Wiki
Every ten minutes around the clock a sweep runs that removes any accounts that have expired since the last run. DIME's home page tells you how many new accounts were opened in the preceding twenty-four hours, and that's a good gauge of how many openings there might be over the next twenty-four hours.
So if you get the message about the membership cap, keep trying, and good luck. We do not have a waiting list, nor (at this writing) an invitation system. You just have to snag a slot when one is available. We've found that if you keep trying for about thirty minutes at a sitting a couple of times a day it should not take long.

I had a miserable time getting started on DIME three years ago and my only recourse to get out of purgatory was to send them $25. That was painful, but they gave me "VIP" status and its been smooth sailing ever since. Apparently VIPs don't get dumped, and their ratio doesn't matter until 200+ GB have been downloaded. Maybe a donation would get you back in easier - I dunno...
Dime accounts are gold. There is so much stuff to download there that you'll never see anywhere else. I pad my ratio by downloading livestream rips post-festival when they are fresh (Kanye at Glastonbury netted me like 4GB). This subsidizes all the rare stuff that I'll never break even on. The very forgiving ratio policy makes it easy. I just wish they'd change the seed limit to something larger than 20. They're shooting themselves in the foot with that one. I'd seed this stuff until I broke 1.0, but it won't let me.

So apparently I am totally clueless. I got an account, but when I click on the links from here, or click on any torrent listed, there is no clicky area for me to download.... What am I missing? I am not new to torrent sites, so I know how they usually work, but this one is stumping me.....

I'll try to help. Locate the torrent you want to DL then click on the link.
Once the torrent info page is visible click on the link pointed to below:
At this point depending on what torrent software you are using and your browser type it should download the torrent file so you can begin leeching. Tell me what you see and I'll try to tell you what you need to do next.
EDIT: I use to use uTorrent but found that it doesn't like to play nice with Dime so I started using qBittorrent (open source) and it works perfect.

Yeah I know where to look for the link - it's not clickable for me I had my hubby look also, and he couldn't figure it out either. I have a pm from another person on this that I need to read also...
Ok so in the FAQ it says this - I have followed the instructions and am waiting on a response:
Only members of User rank or higher can get dot-torrent files and join torrents, and only members of Uploader rank or higher can post new torrents onto DIME.
If you have just opened and confirmed your account and your rank is Guest, the reason is not personal. As of 2015-02-03, new accounts start at Guest rank. To join our torrents, email the moderators to request a promotion (which would be to the Power User class, skipping User). Your message must come from the contact address in your DIME profile, and its text must specify your username as well as stating your reason for writing. All such requests are reviewed by management and processed manually. We will try to respond within forty-eight hours; allow us at least that long before writing again or reminding us.

my Dime account expired, if anyone wants to trade that Mumford and/or Florence download, I'll trade mp3s of Taxi, Shakes, Jacket, or any of my dozen + audio files from 2014. DM me if interested! thanks!
OK dreamingtree I feel like an idiot now! I had no idea they implemented this new policy!
I spent a while confused as well. Had to go searching in the faq. Didn't think it was well spelled out, or prominent. Seems like it would take a lot of time for the mods too. Cam they really have that many issues with bots? They're barely open for registration.

Oh well, just glad to have my account back!
Pretty weird! I've never ever, EVER seen spam on dime. Maybe this is a preemptive strike to keep it that way.
So I guess it's for real...No SLAYER audio or video?
Well this guy has some pretty good footage. But yeah no full sets or anything
What would be so bad ass is this kind of footage from the fans's perspective intercut with proshots they we're taping that night. There were cameras on the soundboard stage. I heard one guy almost bite another guys head off about "DON'T TOUCH THE FUCKING CAMERA PLATFORM" when he accidentally backed into a serious camera (like the kind you see on those panning shots on late night TV where they zoom out from the stage.) So this show was definitely professionally recorded on video. But I'd be happy with audio from a taper.
BUMP! Folks may want to start signing up for Dime accounts at this point because they will be quite scarce after Roo! www.dimeadozen.org/index.php Already looks like they're getting scarce now!

I'll help where I can but my upstream bandwidth is pretty shit so I'm not someone to rely upon!
