So Lolla Brazil acts the same weekend we can rule out I guess: Snoop Dogg Zedd RL Grime Tame Impala Any form of Diplo/Skrillex Floss Zeds Dead Odesza Duke Dumont Atrak Kaskade

Assume they don't bring 19 of 20 acts back in a successive year, so there is a lot more to eliminate: Ghostface (if not with a larger collective), Gramatik, Porter Robinson, Bassnectar, Rocky, Robert Delong,Tribe, Portugal, TV on the Radio, Zomboy, Run the Jewels, Hudson Mohawke, Thomas Jack, Boosie...
Add all that with Lolla Brazil, and what's left (not house) Baauer? Pretty Lights? Buku isn't really known for house, so hopefully they don't switch it up too much with AEG Live/Goldenvoice taking over. Please, no Axwell, Hardwell, Alesso, Tiesto, Avicii or any of that pretty pretty please?
2024: The Floozies, Phyphr, Disco Biscuits, Cimafunk, WSMFP, The Killers, Cory Wong, Dumpstaphunk, Bomba Estereo, Molly & Golden Hwy, Big Freedia, Payton/Nth Power, A.P&TFN, Mule

BUKU has curated its own vibe and has stuck to it pretty well over the years. I don't see them ruining that by making this ULTRA lite full of repetitive house DJs that usually hail from Northern Europe
Manic Science Pretty Lights Cheeky Blakk Cypress Hill Chance the Rapper Prob Cause DJ Jubilee 21 Pilots (bah) Greenhouse Lounge with Khris Royal Juvenile Gravity A Pink Floyd Animals set Zoogma Big Grams Tommy Trash Above and Beyond
No, these aren't all wants. I'd see everyone except 21 Pilots through Big Grams. Just throwing out some acts that probably some of them will be there. Buku has had crazy shit I've seen in the last 3 years, and they always want to remind you they will bring the heat. Consider my sets 13-15:
Lotus Explosions in the Sky Primus 3-D Public Enemy Nas doing Illmatic Bone Thugs Bassnectar Break Science Lettuce Big Freedia Datsik Dillon Francis Dan Deacon Ghostface Killa with badbadnotgood Boosie Badass Beats Antique Flosstradamus Kendrick Kid Cudi Flaming Lips Portugal the Man Thundercat schoolboy Q Griz Gramatik Pusha T DJ Snake Baaur b2b RL Phantogram A$AP Rocky Run the Jewels STS9 with Big G Lil B Porter Robinson Live TV on the Radio Odesza Hudson Mohawke Raury Robert Delong
Anyway, it was a lot of the first time I saw those mfs except Portugal, Lips, Porter, Bassnectar, Dillon Francis, Freedia, Beats, Griz, Phantogram and Gravity A. Most of the rest were 1st time sets. I'd expect to learn some new shit this year.

Got my GA ticket yesterday. I've wanted to go every year but I've never had the money. Last year's lineup was so good and I'm infinitely upset that I missed it. I'm looking forward to it!

I wasn't super wild about last year's lineup, but it turned out fun as shit. I'm wondering what, if any, impact 311 Day Weekend has on Buku. I'm thinking probably little since 311 is sort of a Generation X icon, and Buku's audience tends to be younger. I think the city will just be that much more packed IF 311 Day (and 312 Day) is destination rather than mostly locals. I haven't ever gone, so I really don't know.

Idk if 311 day will have any impact on BUKU except that there might be a shit ton more people in town.

I totally forgot about 311 day. I don't think that there will be too much of an impact from it. I would like to see 311 again though.

Instagram post today:" Something's brewing" with a triangle between something and brewing. It features two dudes in jackets with heads made of sound waves. Some people are thinking Alt-J with the deliberate triangle symbol.

It's only two people, so definitely a duo. They've got "CC" imprinted upon their jackets, so I'm thinking Crystal Castles.

Crystal Castles is confirmed for SXSW in Austin which is the same week. I'd say that is right on the money.
