It was your first rodeo, and I know how hard reffing is, so I have sympathy. But those who have been playing this silly game for weeks may not be as understanding.
Yes I did explain to Boner in PM that I never really thought I'd be particularly good at reffing but stepped in because no one else was ready to ref, so I wanted to help out.
If I ref again, will definitely be more patient/generally learn from the mistakes I made this time.

I was waiting for someone to present evidence that I was missing. I was torn between EAP and Boner. I was leaning obviously toward EAP.

It's a grey area. I think if someone says they are locked then they shouldn't be able to change the rest of the round. Unless, the Inspector comes out or something.
LD and Boner would have likely pulled it off. They did a good job of mixing things up and making their vote stacks look natural.

My whack wasn't overly telling when it happened. Add Phi's whack then you easily get Boner. And if you've played with Phi, you should have picked up on his change towards EAP in round 2. Tainted voted for all three mafia at some point, so his whack should have at least nailed done Boner for good.
- I made several mentions of us needing to get the early Jaz voters to vote again because it was obvious a mafia was in there (Boner, EAP, Tainted.) - Although it wasn't out of suspicion, I made the case that we needed to switch things up so you wouldn't have the final vote.
Either way, yeah. The town should have seen the big Boner hanging over their heads.

I'm in but I want to live to round 2 at least.
We need to change that dumbass rule for automatically removing an absent player. If anything it should happen during the following round. If need be, maybe the math can be tweaked so it doesn't effect the outcome. As in that player's removal can't clinch the game for that round.
Why even bother with the game if it's okay to negate an entire round of play? So either we move the time of removal or we work on an idea like what I put in the referendum thread. Which I'd appreciate opinions on now that this game is done and we can discuss it in detail.

Experience tells me the odds are on Potent likely being innocent. The ridiculous amount of silence the last couple days makes me lean even more in that direction. While part of me thinks switching things up will just cause confusion, I don't think it's wise for the townies to just except their fate and give the mafia a round.
I'm voting for Rothric for several reasons.
-I'm hesitant to vote along with a couple of the people with votes on Potent and Jaz. - I'd be voting along with the person that the situation makes look innocent. - If any of the these three is mafia in a situation as quite as this... it's likely the one about to squeak by or it was the one that did so when the runoff was at four. - Looking back, there are almost no reasons given for the votes so far. At least throwing a wrench in the gears might finally get some discussion going.

You guys were coming around but I think it would have been too little, too late. I didn't understand Sleepy's Jaz vote at first but it was a really great mafia distancing move in hindsight. Which was probably why you were kept alive even tho you were getting close on the trail.
At least you got to play an almost regular game! Maybe next time nothing abnormal will happen.
ALSO, how did none of you guys not pick up on Boner sleazeballing around waiting for everyone to vote? He was so gauging the mood right in your faces.

Probably because I'm too trusting. I gave Boner the benefit of the doubt to start, but as it continued, my suspicions definitely were rising. He used the work excuse at first, but then said he'd have 7 days off soon. When that happened, and his participation barely increased, I took notice.
This game is going to break my soul, and my predisposition to trusting people until they do me wrong. But fuck it, I it's fun

Opps. I meant that to say, " how did you not notice after I did the exact same thing last game? haha. But like I said, it's so much easier to see from the outside. Yeah, hard to know when to trust people's work excuses. I tend to keep it to myself if i think they are lying. Just watch it over time.
