Doesn't Goldenvoice wait until the week of Coachella to announce their schedule. Seems like Hangout is starting to align more and more with their line of doing work, or lack there of.....
I think the delay is a good sign. If they were bumping someone to HL they could just announce it.
I'd agree with this line of thinking. The risk they run by waiting and building the anticipation is that they better deliver something good.
I hope your right on this. Two years in a row a headliner bails but usually there are some leaks, somewhere. Even when Beyonce cancelled on Coachella, Gaga was announced back channel pretty quickly.

He is out at Sasquatch which is the 2nd weekend after Hangout. He said production isn't ready. So it's not going to likely be ready for Hangout either if that's the case.
Such a downer! This fest can only get better for me at this point. Frank Ocean was the only headliner I was not excited for. I'm pumped for any replacement. Can't wait. Sorry to the folks who were looking forward to Frank. I know he has a following, but seriously fuck him for bailing. That's on him and him alone. Not to mention he has a past history of doing it already. Feel bad for his fans, but fuck that guy seriously....production issues.

I'm also hearing that schedule won't be released until Wednesday, which means that we won't likely hear anything about this until then... bummer
as for the wants/reality lists, keep this in mind:
radius clauses prevent acts from booking major festivals within close proximity of each other, so that takes out any of the shaky knees and jazz fest headliners (stevie wonder, tom petty, the xx, phoenix, LCD)
