Well it's come to the point I've started dreaming about getting the schedule. So if my dream comes true 1. We get the schedule today 2. Kanye and deathcab replace frank and band of horses ... and also they add a place that shows cartoons all day oddly enough and 3. We hit 200 pages. ... I'm very confident one of these will happen today.
But on the real though, hope the insider news is right and we finally get the schedule tomorrow. That way, we can channel our anger towards the conflicts!
I'd be channeling my anger at that Nickelback and Scott Stapp late addition they're announcing tomorrow.
I would take Nickleback over Frank Ocean (ducks & runs for cover).

1) Frank Ocean will perform really well Friday night 2) Band of Horses will pull a Sturgill Simpson and kill it with a three piece band no one has ever heard before. 3) Schedule will be posted sometime between now and next Friday.

My son and I really enjoyed the Nickleback set in like 2012. Huge crowd at Palladia stage (XBOX OR LETTING GO) back then. I've given the finger to a few audiences. I wasn't getting paid which makes it different. If you are paid to play, shut up, smile, and give it your best in my opinion. Eddie Vedder caused more than a few fights at Bonnaroo last year with his mouth.

From the look of it, they replaced the wooden boardwalk through VIP with a fairly wide concrete driveway. How genius to put the Merchandise tent between VIP and Super VIP. Some marketing student probably got a bonus out of that one. I'm curious about the new permanent building for Gulf Shores Chamber. It is smaller than pictured by the map. Did someone say they took the city restrooms behind surf shop for VIP? I've used them before as GA. The Hangout restaurant is totally remodeled with the bar stretching from one corner of the main dining room to the other on the west side vs the "pit" that used to be a pain. The boom boom test looked a lot closer to the road. Maybe bigger? I didn't see any progress on stages, palm trees placed on the beach or moving the lifeguard towers.

So you are playing for a crowd of half Trump and Half not people when political tensions are pretty high. It is hot, end of day, booze aplenty, and you just kicked off with four loud as hell great rocks songs and you stop and start this protest monologue with A lot of "Fock Trump" statements and somebody (s) in the crowd goes "oh yeah" and pokes a redneck and voila, bloody noses, first aid, stomped body parts. I think the folks smoking weed probably got the worst of it. Alcohol/meth >>> mellow weed in a bar fight. This was about the time I headed for the gate.

...is there a more progressively political band than r.e.m.? I saw them with half an arena booing when Stipe went on a Bush diatribe. plenty of people love bands they are not politically aligned with.

Dont think the suggestion is about having the same alignment as the performers. If you take just the age demographic of the attendees of Roo, and use the election returns from Tennessee (even tho a ton of people come from all over the country), i would imagine you dont come close to 50%.
