Not saying they are the answer. Just saying that the Blood Orange answer doesn't make any sense.
Makes more sense grammatically than Neil Young ("your Neil is Young") or Royal Blood ("your Royal is Blood"). It's a poorly constructed clue (as many tend to be), but Blood Orange is the only logical fit that ties in both "yellow" and "heart". Words of advice when it comes to Roo Clues: don't overthink it.

I just posted Neil Young and acknowledged that it was wrong. For Royal Blood, I was thinking "your blood is gold". Gold is a color associated with royalty.
And I beg to differ with the overthinking thing. Remember that balls crazy Neutral Milk Hotel clue?

That's not at all farfetched logic, but the problem with that guess is the way the clue was displayed. The two blank spaces are clearly for the artist's name. It's not a multi-layered clue, where you guess the blank words, and then guess the artist based on those missing words.
As for the NMH clue, I don't see how that qualified as "balls crazy". The major issue people had with that clue was how unclear the car logos appeared. Once you figured out that the car logos shown were Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Hyundai, it was pretty simple from there. The 25 mph sign was referring to their 25-year reunion.

Don't forget the merge records thing.
This clue is just poorly structured. I do think it's Blood Orange but I was saying that the colors mixing thing makes little sense.

Meh, it's pretty strait forward.
It's much better then having a picture of a baby with a Cars-R-Coffins T-shirt on and the answer not being Death Cab for Cutie.

What band was that for?
Tears for Fears.
The radio clue tied to them, but you had to know enough about Tears for Fears to remember they were from Bath, England. So the radio clue just confused things and we didn't mark it as solved.
Okay so if we put reality on hold for a minute and assume that a yellow heart is mixing with red blood (wtf?) and somehow magically making it orange, well then as soon as the now-orange blood circulates and re-enters the magic yellow heart, it's just going to become a more yellowy orange. And so on and so forth, until it's just yellow. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Some years the clues are hard. Some years they are easy. We will soon find out how dumb this year's ACE/Superfly/Live Nation interns are.
The first one is always easier. It's how they draw you in. You think everything's all good, and you're going to figure out all these fucking clues. Then, they get the five star difficulty clues which they can't even remember the logic behind, and you hate yourself for being tricked again. Slowly, you forget about it then the next year your confidence gets boosted by how easy the first one is, so you think this is your year. It's a vicious cycle.

What about Robert Plant? That was so easy and the last one.

By that point, a vast majority of people have given up, so they can do whatever. It's not a straight ramping up of difficulty. The only constant is the first is always relatively simple.
LOL at anyone who thinks these clues are confusing or leave any room for interpretation. I leave you one of my favorite Roo Clues from 2011:
The libra denotes these "brothers." Look forward to a new snack.
Ahhh I miss the old days.
wtf are you talking about? You were wrong about the Tears for Fears example we were just discussing, just like most people. There was certainly room for interpretation there.

It makes perfect sense, little feller. I've rarely seen one be more obvious. I hope Neil Young is there too, but I wouldn't count on it.

But yeah, I do miss the old riddle clues.
Fair point - relatively though, pretty straightforward. I love going back to the old clues and just scrolling through the guesses.
Obviously (sarcasm) if your heart is yellow, your BODY is DEAD........which is a song by the band Funeral Advantage which just released a new CD in August.
