I voted for J. Cole because I cant bring myself to vote for anything involving Diplo with a chance of Justin Bieber.
Yeah, nothing worse than some pop star showing up to guest on one song, with an artist I probably wouldn't be watching anyway. It's like the time Trey Anastasio brought out Bo Bice. I have a bran in my skull so I was watching the Mars Volta instead of Trey's oxy-addled noodling tripe, but damned if that didn't ruin the whole festival for me.
How was that show? Have to imagine it was pretty amazing. I saw them a few times in '05, but wasn't going to Bonnaroo at that point so curious how that LN show was. They were on fire the shows I saw from them that year.

It was awesome. I don't know that it differed much from the shows they were playing on tour, but it was great. Better still was the fact that Bonnaroo still had most of its old demographic, so the tent was mostly empty, because all the hairfarming wooks were stumbling about at Trey or Karl Denson or whatever the fuck. About five minutes into their show I was able to easily walk up to right in front of the soundboard.
They were pretty heavy into some improv jams back then, with 20+ min versions of Cicatriz, Drunkship of Lanterns, Cygnus and the like, just depending on the night.
I bet it was a pretty empty set, especially with Trey playing else where.
Antemasque is good, but I miss The Mars Volta. Would be weird seeing them without Ikey at this point anyway.

In the case of separation of artist, bring on the Jack U for a latenight clear out of the tents. I assume that would be "4th headliner" material while I go enjoy some none cheese/latenight funk.

My vote went to J.Cole only because I'd imagine he would be the least expensive of the 3 (my purely uneducated guess, I could definitely be wrong), and since I don't like any of them I'd rather see that money go to the undercard.
