These are what we have tickets to. But I just saw that the National is the day after Avetts.
September 9th and 10th is Tribe at Red Rocks. I'd like to hit that, but it's probably too far of a haul for 2 days. One of the days celebrates their 20th show at Red Rocks. Bound to be cool.

Southwest usually has cheap direct flights to Denver from NOLA.

I have to get past Jazz Fest next week and the week after that. Because I ditched Hangout, and because we aren't going to do Memorial Day this year (which sucks we decided late, because there were some good festivals that weekend), I should have some free time in the summer. I'm glad they have cheap flights, because the drive is like 20 hours or so. I have been wanting to get out there, and I will do it within the next year or so. Tribe will sell out both nights at Red Rocks. I've seen them probably 13 or 14 times (band I've seen the most that isn't from my area). I just don't plan to make any decisions until June or July. There's actually a chance I'll be in Austin the 2nd weekend of October, and if so, I'll probably hit a day of ACL. And NOLA has two local festivals the two weeks before that (Bear Creek's Bayou Fest which I'm not missing and Galactic's The Landing Fest which was pretty fun last year). But ultimately, yeah, a trip to Red Rocks is kind of a mandatory thing for people who like live music, so I'll be there soon.
Does Red Rocks ever release additional tickets to sold out shows? I'm trying to decide whether or not I should buy a LCD 2-day pass on stubhub or wait to see if they release more.

I think they do sometimes but I'm not sure it's worth it to risk it. For the Odesza/Rufus show they released extra tickets cause they said they cancelled scalper ones but that's the first time I had heard of them doing that.
Is Red Rocks always this stacked? LCD, Tame Impala, Sia, Sufjan, Avetts... Also had 2 nights of twenty one pilots which I know you guys don't like but it's still a big get for the venue
