One of my kids' friends is driving out this afternoon. He's going to have about 5 hours to kill before going to the amphitheater. I told him to go down to old town and St. Augustine Beach to wander around as both are awesome. He's only staying for Friday, and it's a haul from here to St. Aug (8.5/9ish hours). But still, that should be a good time. Have fun and be sure to put out some set reviews noodle!.

Ya old town and the beach are both really interesting and beautiful! Our group of 6 is now down to only my friend and I. Anyone have any suggestions for things/ places to go afterwords? We're not going to the late night shows cuz their sold out and neither of us are much into the bar scene. Thx

I wasn't going to go because I work Fri and Sat but at last min I decided to leave a little early friday and head to St Augustine straight from my office in Orlando.
I caught Lettuce, Griz, and Griz Lettuce last night and I'm so glad I decided to go. That was an incredible show.

This festival is way crazier than I thought. We had seen what more or less was Griz Lettuce as Buku Allstars 3 weeks ago for a late night show. It was mostly instrumental jams but they brought out Mystikal for a couple tunes. Funky and brassy. I'm interested to hear how a real festival set went.
But what is really cool is all the artist excursions. There is zip lining over crocodiles with Borham Lee, mini golf with Lettuce, and a sailboat excursion with some other guys in Lettuce. So basically the artists were not only there to play but also to run with fans. That's cool as shit. I love the funk and would have enjoyed this. Looks like the sailing event sold out, so that's great. liveforlivemusic.com/news/fools-paradise-announces-artist-led-excursions-with-members-of-lettuce-and-break-science
Just for fun, I'm sitting on my porch listening to what I think is Greensky Bluegrass from Hogs for the Cause at City Park.
Texted Berry who is back home in Metairie (he just went the one day). He offered:
I met Jesus from Lettuce and chilled with him a while. We gave him some of our food. He's a really cool guy.
I talked to GRiZ and that made my night. Such an amazing little fest. Estimated a couple thousand people. Said best GRiZ show he's ever seen.
Friday was one of his best nights ever and he has tons of pro shot shit to show us. He's a young guy (like 20) who runs with my kids. Said, "It was lettuce show then griz show then griz and lettuce with the singer in all of grizs albums for about an hour. Also Marvel Years was killer."

The entire "floor" of the ampitheatre was packed, and most of the bottom section. It looked like a really good turnout.
If any proshot video or audio recordings surface of lettuce/griz I'd really like some
Griz was really awesome. I was front rail. During the first hour it was him, his live guitarist (I think his name was muzzy bear), and for half his set he had his live singer. Also, at other Griz shows I've seen him "fake" playing sax (which was incredibly lame). It was definitely the real deal throughout this entire set.
Caught the last part of Lettuce on Friday. Pretty fun night! Atmosphere was pretty relaxed. Venue was small for an amphitheater. Good turnout and vibes for basically a city show. Griz definitely brought the energy! Wasn't as good as his Hulaween set, but that's not fair considering it was at SOSMP. Grizzed Lettuce was funk funk funk! Love seeing one-time compulations of bands. Tried to get into for late show, ending up playing beach ball for an hour instead. Had fun, would do it again and I'll be keeping my eye out on that venue since it's only 90 minutes from me. 4/5
If u live in Gainesville, go to The Jam downtown tonight and catch the Pink Floyd laser show. My friends and I went last night. It felt like we were in a friend's backyard watching a poor mans IMAX. Tixs were $6 and it lasted around 2 hours. We had some neat pieces of paper for the show. It was quite the wonderful experience
I'm not sure why you buried that here and suspect you already know. It's the description for the tin foil right who believes no one was actually killed in Sandy Hook as it was an Obama and anti-gun lobby ploy to git yr guns. A more fucked up angle is that the government covertly did kill all those kids to blame it on guns. Think Alex Prickhead Jones and 9/11 truthers. And yes, they exist in droves. Many Americans are also ignorant AF.
Word. I don't either. Trutherism is an extension of birtherism. It's basically people who have chosen to believe conspiratorial lies no matter what they use to justify.
