Honestly question, how realistic is drake? Last year he was on a lot of people's mock too and it seemed to me to have no basis besides popular appeal.
At this point, it'd be two years late. It's one of those "gotta happen at some point" guesses, like Muse and Foo Fighters.
I do hope the "gotta happen at some point" Hot Chip booking happens next year though!
Two years late? It would be two years after he played Coachella, yes. But since then he has put out two big albums. One year late, sure. But he's huge right now and while he might not have a single on regular radio by next summer, he'll still be huge then

There's also the possibility that he could, you know, release more music. There's apparently an album with Kanye on the way.

Okay, he's huge and he could put out more music... But, going back to his question, there's nothing logical to make anyone think he's playing next year. No tour, no album. The only speculation is "gotta happen at some point."

Kanye has about 14 of those that are "coming out this year."
Drake is also still relevant, unlike the bands you compared him to.
Huh? I didn't compare him to anyone, other than putting him in the "hasn't headlined" category. Also, Muse and Foo Fighters are very much relevant. You're trying too hard.

Not nearly as much as Drake is, though. They're both over 15 years old, and have definitely peaked. Drake's huge and still on his way up.

Again, I'm not comparing because it doesn't make sense to compare hip-hop acts with rock acts. With that said, both Muse and Foo Fighters put out majorly successful albums just in the last two years. Implying they couldn't (or shouldn't) headline because they've managed to stay relevant for over 15 years is just dumb.
Drake - Arcade Fire - random mainstream shit that nobody on inforoo wants - unrealistic act that only 5% of bonnaroo attendees want to see that we justify by the shit that is at the 3 spot
The Who/ Arcade Fire/ Kings of Leon/ NIN/ Childish Gambino/ Kygo/ Chance/ Pretty Lights/ Queens of the Stone Age/ Chic ft Nile Rogers
Too good of a top line. It would mean AC/S realized what they did wrong this year and fixed it, and we know Capp Dogg does no wrong.
I don't know if booking The Who and Kings of Leon in the top 3 would do anything to fix the damage they did this year. In fact, if it weren't for NIN and CHIC, this would be worse than last year.

Are you talking about ticket sales or just quality of the lineup?

A little of both. I don't think ticket sales would dramatically improve with that top line. Especially if the price goes up as it definitely could. Having EDM in the top 10 would help, but those headliners are overall weaker to me than this year's. And there are only about 4 names there that would get the stereotypical 18-25 year old excited

Damn, I can't believe they busted out that Marley cover. I don't think they've played that since their surprise 5-hour LN set at Lock'n

Of course they didn't play money faces smh
We don't do songs that have "Friendly" Man in them. It limits us to We Hate Eduardo, December 7th, and The Pirates Life but they don't fit the #VIBEZ
