Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
We're you not around for that whole fake Alive 2017 countdown website nonsense?
At what point do they just book One More Time at the Christmas Barn and call it a day.
I've seen them twice. Who wouldn't want to pay $10 to see a giant pyramid with an awesome light show and two dudes in replica costumes playing Daft Punk music?
Just wait until next week when almost everything below the third line is complete garbage. Then I'll have to accept that I won't be going to Bonnaroo, and that somehow Hangout with its booking of Frank Ocean and Sigur Ros has me more excited than anything at Bonnaroo. I'll be left wondering is it really worth going to Bonnaroo to see The Avalanches and Chance give a "special" Bonnaroo show? I don't want that to be the scenario but I'm ready for it.
This is pretty much my mentality right now. Hangout's not in consideration for me. Probably going to decide between Eaux Claires and Wayhome if Roo isn't worth my time. Any knowledge on when either of those lineups should be dropping?
Eaux Claires announce early February last year, however, that last years dates were in August. Since this year they moved the dates to June (weekend after Roo) we should probably get a lineup sometime in January.

Anybody else think it's kinda weird that none of our headliners have their own thread, at least not on page one of the forum? Normally with a lineup set to drop, I would expect 2/3 to have several-page-long threads with active discussion, maybe the 3rd to have a couple pages, a little less enthusiasm. But seeing nothing is pretty unusual, especially since we already know (or think we know...) who they're gonna be.
Dunno, maybe there's just less enthusiasm for this year's headliners. Looking at these three, I'm kinda like "Oh cool", without being super hyped about any of the three. I don't think they're bad acts, but they just might not be that exciting for the Inforoo crowd.

Most of the discussion, in general on all things, has been in here. It's been a weird year in that way.

they'll prob be made after everything is actually official and the poster is out

Because they're lame and nobody cares?
U2 and The Weeknd get some love around here. But with RHCP what is there to discuss? They're going to do a standard 2 hour greatest hits set.

Not sure why Lorde is consistently pushing 6th or lower on the mocks I've seen. I honestly expect her to go no lower than 4th unless there's a big name we don't know about. Sure, she's only got one album but it was absolutely massive, and most of the tracks on it have 50m+ listens on Spotify. And as far as pop stars go, she's gotten a ton of rock & indie cred. I'd be surprised to see Beck or even Chance above her.
Speaking of pop, Weeknd's our first pop headliner, right? Not counting pop/rock acts like Elton or Paul McCartney.

She's fifth on the Gov Ball lineup behind acts like Chance, Phoenix, and Gambino
We already know the top three, plus Chance is rumored so she could easily be 6th or lower at Roo

I'm usually a Bonnaroo over Coachella guy but headliners alone I'm leaning towards Coachella. I'm not even a big Radiohead fan but U2 is a bucket list band (not someone I'm dying to see) and the other two don't really interest me that much. If I end up going to Roo I'll probably be avoiding their sets for a good spot at late nights.
Hoping that late night and superjams deliver this year.

That schedule is near best case scenario for me and I actually felt a pang of sadness about the Avalanches/Weeknd conflict. Schoolboy Q>Kaytranada is a great late night tent. Sunday I would have things to see from start to finish. Kudos. That would maybe/probably get me there.

Stevie Wonder
And Mumford & Sons is pop as hell. Just twangy pop.
that poster would be like the dream lineup for me. lumineers, pretty lights, umphrees, and jim james would be killer. im actually seeing lumineers in a few months. and i paid quite a bit for that show. i havnt seen a whole lot of speculation about them playing roo.
