You're basically guaranteed to be right and that breaks my heart. After last year, I basically gave up all hope. It's really a shame that people are willing to lower their expectations because that is resulting in fests being ok with presenting the lackluster lineups that they have.

That last part is what scares me about the future of Roo goers lol. More EDC vibes if you ask me.

If King Crimson played would they headline? How possible are they?
Where they would be on the lineup I'm really not sure. Pre-hl maybe?
How likely? According to the reports of the 2017 tour, they are spending June and July on the west coast and coming to the east coast in the fall. So unless they do a random date in Tennessee for Roo or decide to kick it off at Roo I would say not very likely.
King Crimson would play at like 4PM in a tent to 30 people.
I think there were like 20 people at the Spectrum Road LN set. I caught the 2nd half and it was one of the best sets I've seen on the farm. Literally walked right up to the middle of the rail an hour into the set
U2 tour dates seem to probably lock them for Friday
Thats pretty awesome if true. I can bounce out before RHCP, grab a hotel in Nashville for the night, and await Sigur Ros. If U2 had closed the fest, I would have spent another night in a tent.

Robert Del Naja to be exact. I don't ever expect to see them on a Bonnaroo lineup, but it is one of a very few acts that would compel me to go even if the rest of the lineup is totally counter to my taste. Also, it would be my luck that they would sign one really amazing act the year I finally get ok with planning a skip much like what happened to crazykittensmile the last time Kanye played.
If cage really is that high then wow. I would be shocked. They were billed in the 40's in the 2014 and not sure they've done anything to shoot up near that high.

Cage is 10th on Gov Ball. They are not going to be 8th on Roo. 12-15 spot.
