Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Misfits, even original lineup, are a tent act IMO. First I'm hearing of them getting back together, that's pretty cool.
I guess I just really love old punk so I thought they'd be bigger. But yeah, they're #1 on the Riot Fest lineups! Praying that this reunion lasts a lil bit so I've a more realistic/easy chance to see them!
It'd be a hell of a LN show, ala Alice Cooper! If they do anything else after Riot, I can see them playing 'roo. We did get Danzig'd several years ago!
I don't think Danzig's ego would allow a reunited Misfits to play a tent at Bonnaroo.
Would Bonnaroo even book something that cool? Late nights are for the SuperJam, big room EDM, and mighty Kalliope.
I'm really hoping Sound On Sound gets the Misfits with Danzig reunion. Seems like he did a lot of complaining last time he played FFF. Something about Slayer getting moved to the big stage and not his band.
He did, but it was a stripped-down set. Still, the fact that he played Newport Folk suggests that he's at least open to playing festivals. I think the last festival he played prior to Newport Folk was Coachella in 2008.

I could dig some Roger Waters at Roo...
Although I wonder if fests will stay away from any of the names already associated with the Coachella legend fest coming up... Dylan, The Who, McCartney, Young, Rogers, Stones...

Why would they possibly stay away from any of those names? If anything, it makes them all the more appealing (as if they weren't already).

No offense to Bob Dylan, but he would be an awful headliner. He can barely sing these days, and his setlists primarily consist of deep cuts and covers. If you want Bonnaroo to completely flop in 2017, booking Bob Dylan as a headliner would be a great start.
In your opinion would people prefer Chance or Future? I think most members of the board would prefer Chance. While most people would prefer Future. I personally say Chance.
Eh, The Avetts only play even years. They'll probably be back in 2018. Which hopefully means that Bonnaroo will book Fleet Foxes next year.
I can't tell if this is serious or not but do people really think some bands will only play odd/even years?
It was mostly tongue-in-cheek since they've never played an odd year. But in all seriousness, I don't think they're as likely for 2017 as others here think. They've reached that point where they're big enough to sub every year, but not quite big enough to headline. At this point, it doesn't make as much sense to keep bringing them back every 2-3 years. It made more sense when they were steadily rising through the ranks from 2006 to 2014.

The Avetts have played every even year since 2008 except for this one. If they played this year I'd rule them out for next, but this is the first year they bucked the trend. I'm gonna expect them next year especially since they have a new album out.

Chance seems to be a bigger figure and personality in the greater music world. I don't follow much hip-hop news, and I'm a Chance fan so I'm a little biased, but to me Future seems like he's got hits, but is otherwise just kind of around, while Chance is a more formidable presence. And Chance seems to be the more raved about live show. So I think a lot of people would prefer him to Future. Could be wrong though.
with an undercard stronger than this year's do you all think a top 6 of Roger Waters/ Beyoncé/ Beck/ Avett Brothers/ Chance The Rapper/ Pretty Lights would do well?

God yes, but that top 6 is extremely ambitious.
ok let's try to make it more real. Arcade Fire/ Phish/ the rest the same
I really think Pretty Lights has lost a lot of steam. Top EDM will probably be something more like Zedd, Jack U, Major Lazer, Skrillex
I kind of agree but his solo fest/tour thing he is doing makes me feel that he could certainly be the #1 EDM at the 4-6 range. Also, he is the one huge (reasonably possible) DJ that has been pretty scarce at festivals since 2013, which would add to his billing because he's more rare than nectar or skrilly-bear
