Once again, wish I could make it up for this one. Two years running with two interesting lineups packed full of stuff I'm not going to be able to catch just anywhere.
So many artists that have contributed to the Day of the Dead collaboration are also on the lineup. That set will be so crazy and one of a kind. It sounds like it will be a Bonnaroo-style superjam that Bonnaroo couldn't pull off anymore...
Such a good fest. No Love on this board. Had a great time there last year. If I make it to another festival after panorama, this is it. Beautiful location. Great variety. Great price. Just a loooong drive from Buffalo,NY!

The no love doesn't surprise me. seems like most of the people here are on the coasts so those festivals get the attention.
I dunno. I could have sworn I saw something not long ago where he basically said that part of his impetus in putting on Eaux Claires was a lack of desire to ever play at bigger festivals again. Of course, money talks, so who knows. He's a weird and stubborn enough dude where I could see him just being like "nah, you can come to my festival if you want to see my band play."
That makes sense. I'm curious to see what they end up doing over the next few years.
Justin Vernon has said he hates the corporatization of U.S. Music festival so I would be surprised if Bon Iver places anywhere other than Eaux Claires for the now...

Other than the just announced date at the Hollywood Bowl right?
Really wondering if there's a "to be announced" Saturday headliner. Right now I'd have to imagine that either Beach House or (more likely) Day of the Dead would headline that night. Both certainly could, but for some reason it just seems off. I f
Nah, she's great, but wouldn't headline over either Beach House (headlining a day at Pitchfork, pretty high on some other fests) or Day of the Dead (basically the National, who headlined last year, with a ton of special guests). Especially not at this festival - the majority of bands appeal to a slightly different demographic.
I mean she is the number one name on the hopscotch lineup over beach house. She is also playing the bigger venue.
