Nah the way I'm scheduling it on my mock, Chainsmokers end at 1:00, LCD end at 2:00, and Tame go on at 2:15. I feel like you don't really need to be toooo close for Tame either. So you should just go to all or most of LCD and then head over for Tame.
I'm just glad there's not much I'm initially super excited 'bout to have to also worry 'bout a bunch of conflicts this year. I'm sure there will be a few come schedule time.

You might be right, but I could definitely see them getting the same spot Alabama Shakes had. I'm not a huge CHVRCHES fan, so I'd much rather they get a sub-par spot and be able to see M83 > LCD > Tame Impala
I think that What lineup is very reasonable. I don't think LCD has to go "late" like deadmau5 was last year. Chvrches does seem early there though. I'd be cool with it but it feels too early.

I could easily see CHVRCHES being LN, at which point they'll almost certainly conflict with TI. But if I could get a conflict-free day of LCD, TI, and M83, that is a huge win and I would almost certainly get a day pass. Those are the 3 acts I'd be most excited to see, by far.

Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

I have skin in the game because the only way I attend at all this year is if my above scenario miraculously comes to fruition. But it's not too far fetched since TI is listed as LN. We know approximately when LCD will play because they're a headliner. Who knows about M83. But when I saw the lineup, my first thought was that they'd be perfect to play a la Cut Copy a few years back.

Ellie Goulding is likely on Saturday. I doubt her and Cole are playing the same day

I think cgs's point on Ellie is more than speculation. She doesn't play 4 days in a row anywhere else on her tour schedule. Logic points to Saturday. I would be comfortable adding her to the Saturday line up.

Not that it necessarily matters to anyone :-) but last year I watched Undercover units in the VIP area during Bassnectar conduct controlled setups and buys by using Facebook in the crowd. These people will also have artist passes on. They tried to get a beat on me and my friend but my buddy showed me their game.these officers had an artist wrisbands which gives them access anywhere in the festival which is why Bonnaroo gives police officers artist passes(allows them access without saying hey let me in I'm a cop). I had a little fun with there police presence I stood next to him and watched him and his partner talk to people on Facebook and then go rushing into the crowd and pulling out some guy probably selling whatever that makes people smile lol. When I noticed his artist pass I asked him what band he was in he smiled and did not answer. By far one of the funniest things maybe I have ever seen was watching a undercover cop trying to time the throwing of his glow stick with everyone else during Bassnectar lol needless to say he did not time it right and then only through it about 10 feet to hit someone in the side of the head me and my buddy cracked up watching them try to blend into a Bassnectar crowd truly hilarious. Moral of the story is undercover units must travel in groups of two or more one will often be drinking and the other often will not be. They will always have artist passes so if you see this make them feel like your in the know to their cute little trick.

Grace Potter is playing Bonnaroo on Saturday and on Sunday playing the same fest in Ohio. Your logic is sound but Roo and I both love some Thursday Aussie music. Last two years have featured Courtney Barnett and The Preatures. I will be confused and disoriented the rest of the weekend if Boy & Bear don't play Thursday. Book it.

I can't remember, is pollstar a reliable source for daily confirms? or do they just pull from an artists website? Having said that all of those acts would make sense for Thursday.
Popadosio HAS to be a late act Thursday. It just makes too much sense...meaning they'll get a 4pm slot.
I could see Papadosio ending up anywhere on the lineup. I'd kind rather them not close Thursday because it seems logical The Floozies would close Thursday and I'd like to catch both acts.
Dopapod was great in that sunset set last year on That. Really great time.
