Sure, I don't buy it either. So far catman has done nothing to show his information is accurate.
But, its not completely unprecedented for an artist to use Friday as a placeholder instead of Thursday. Not the norm but not unprecedented.
But if next month or whenever Umphreys does get added, we then need to consider that his schedule claim might also be correct.
It wouldn't be the first time a bigger act listed Friday as the place holder
I remember us thinking the entire time that Erykah Badu was Fri., until the schedule came out and she was Sun. I'm sure there are other examples, but I still remember that one strongly for some reason.

I know somebody said one of the members of there band said they were out. Not sure where it came from though

Before the lineup drop, Joel Cummins, Umphrey's keyboard player, said on Twitter they would not be playing Bonnaroo this year (somebody asked him). So that pretty much seemed to seal it. But then a couple weeks ago this dude on reddit is saying they will be added, his source being "superfly person". So a pretty weak "confirmation" especially given Joel's statement to the contrary.
Furthermore while UM is open Roo weekend, they are playing the Riverbend Festival the following week in Chattanooga, TN, which blah blah radius clause whatever makes the idea of an addition, already considerably unlikely, even more unlikely.
So even though (1) a member of the band confirmed they were NOT playing and (2) the band is playing an nearby festival a week later, we can't deny the power of the evidence that (A) a drunken redditor claims Umphrey's will be added per his "superfly person" source.

Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

The M83 date is now definitely Friday.
Just saw he is playing at The National here in Richmond on Sunday, June 12th. Checked his website and also playing Raleigh on Saturday, June 11th.
UGH. Of course M83 plays Raleigh while I'll be at Roo; now if I have to miss them because of LCD conflict, I might not get to make up for that with seeing them at a separate time.
Oh oh but there is a Charlotte show that Tuesday after Roo....could potentially make that instead.

What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
