I actually can't wait to meet you guys. I'm curious to see how my mental images of all of you compare to who you really are. I just hope I can find the damn thing. Also have no idea what I'm going to bring.
I am so glad I found this thread. I will definitely be coming to the brunch. I am planning on camping in tent only. Not sure what to bring. It will need to be something that will not require refrigeration or reheating (I am packing light). Maybe some plates and booze. Wonder if I can find some good TN moonshine in a plastic container.
And quack it. I need to get rid of this whole "spotless" rating. I have gotten rather filthy in my old age. Really, really hoping I won't end up being the grandma of the bunch. Not used to that, but I realized today that I am at least 5 years older (and 10 years older than all but one) than all of my coworkers.
I am pretty sure you won't be the youngest at brunch.

Being the youngest isn't on the radar . Though I look way younger than I actually am. Thank you SPF 50!

I am going to be very disappointed if you don't look exactly like your avatar.

Ha. That is actually something I have heard repeatedly from posters meeting other posters for the first time. It is interesting how you automatically create an image in your head of a person based off what they have written on the board despite having zero actual evidence to build on. You'll be disappointed to know I don't look like Petey at all.

Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

You will most definitely not be the oldest person there. There will be some youngins, and you are definitely way older than me (I stalked you checked your profile, and I'll still technically be in my 30's for a couple weeks!), but brunch will not look like a frat party. You should cut yourself some slack - you're not that old. And 40's are the new 20's anyway (or so some have said).
I'm still hoping to bring something savory/protein-y, since so many folks bring such yummy sweet stuff. Something that could be made Tuesday night would be ideal but there may be a stove in play for once. Maybe omelettes in a bag, if krissyjo isn't making them this time? I cook and bake, and am open to suggestions.

I'm pretty sure I won't be doing the omelets so, if you want to - have at it! If you want any tips on how I've done it, let me know

My age doesn't really bother me. It will be nice to be with a group where I fall in the middle. I normally tend to become the maternal one in the group. I am a nurturer by nature. Your avatar and being from Ohio give you brownie points in my book. Some of my favorite people are from Ohio. Go Buckeyes!
I suggest sausage balls for brunch. They are easy, and have cheese in them.
Sorry I've been slacking. Lots going on lately. But I am super excited to see you all at brunch.
What to bring? Well, bring whatever you can. Lots of times we have plenty of alcohol but not enough food, non-alcoholic beverages, mixers. I'll pick up an inflatable swimming pool again to use as a beverage cooler, so ice will be needed.
