Thought about Guns n Roses or AC/DC, but in the end it's a band I considered in the second round that has since been in a freefall and has me asking one question - have you ever seen the rain? Yep, I'm taking CCR despite their short time together. It was a great peak, some great songwriting, and John Fogerty is pretty awesome. And I'm claiming his solo work in addition, so there.

I'm having a Katy Mae moment with this pick. I had hoped that the Chinese Democracy/Fat Axl era might have kept them off the board for longer, though. Also, couldn't leave the Mats on the board this late.
