cdevaney you and I have had a neck and neck race so far through the voting. I suppose if I have to lose to someone this early, I'm glad it's the guy who brought this whole draft idea to the table in the first place. That being said.....
My calling attention to your selection of Anthony Keidis really helped to even things out.
In all seriousness, though, best of luck to you.
I do wish people would remember them more for the band that they were during their prime, or even a decade ago, rather than the mediocre material they've released as of late.

I first saw them in '91. Funk metal hang aged well. I'm not saying they're without merit. I just think that they're more of a fifth or sixth round talent.
R1 The Beach Boys R2 Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band R3 Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers R4 The Kinks R5 The Staple Singers R6 Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young
May I suggest that for the next bracket, you could use a poll with the names of the members, and use the poll function of allowing 4 choices out of the 8, and listing the drafts in your OP. Would make it easier on you so you're not counting everything manually.

I thought about it but I wasn't confident that people would vote in bracket format. You think that people can be counted on to do it the right way?

The voting down from 20 to 16 went very quickly and smoothly

Right, but that was just picking any five. If we try to get people to vote in a bracket format, they'll have to only vote for one out of each pair that will show up in a list of eight. It shouldn't be hard but that's what I thought about the difference between a solo artist and not a solo artist.

I don't mind either voting format, so if that's a concern you have I understand.

i thought about that also but in this thread people have gone to great lengths to quote/edit, or simply tag 8 players so I'm pretty confident that with a similar pool of voters they will be able to get it right
In a place where jam is thought of higher I would have done better but I wasn't about to not be true to my tastes. It was fun. Good luck to the next 8. I'll pop in and vote soon
