I may not agree with Trump on much anything politically. But at least the man knows some good football when he sees it. Robert Kraft is a successful businessman and knows how to put together a winning organization. Tom Brady is one of the greatest of all time. Of course our fascist overlord is gonna gravitate towards people like that.
Well the Pats game was competitive for awhile. But even with Clowney and Mercilus your secondary needs to be better than that. It would have been interesting if Watt was in there too though.

Nothing against Brady here, but this ruins Trump's case for him being a true New Yorker. He may not like people who were captured, but he's down with winners.
The Falcons are better off with the #2 seed since they get a Seahawks team that sucks badly on the road. The Seahawks on the road are not even really a playoff caliber team.
That "Alex Smith drafted #1 while Aaron Rodgers fell" narrative. That Super Bowl I rematch... and because we've already beaten the Patriots & Steelers for our more recent championships. And, yeah, I just plain don't like Tom Brady & Ben Roethlisberger.
Go ahead and hate now but this team is going to be great for awhile. I think this L was great learning experience for the rookies. Not many rookies get to even sniff a playoff game let alone compete (and you could argue DID outplay GB) in one of the best divisional games ever. There were some very sketchy penalties against Dallas that screwed with momentum. Add a few defensive pieces in the offseason and I'll be looking into tickets to Minneapolis for SB52.
I still have NE in SB51 but i don't know about ATL/GB. This is the 2nd best Atlanta Falcons team ever & deserves to make a Super Bowl, but the type of run Rodgers is leading is too epic to overlook.
Not a single game in my 22 years as a Cowboys fan have i been more anxious than this one.
Not a Cowboy fan but wondering if they will consider Romo. Looking like they are gonna need a boost in the vertical passing game.
Edit: I think the kid is going to be ok lol. Cowboys should move Romo in the offseason. 1st or 2nd round pick for Romo sound about right?
It'll be tough but i think they trade him. They have to find a team that has the cap space to take on his contract but also be a contender. Most teams with abundant cap room that fit his contract suck (Cleveland, NY Jets, San Francisco) and the good teams he wants to be traded to don't have the cap nor necessarily even want him (Denver, Arizona, Houston). I still think Houston somehow makes it happen though. A 2nd round pick would be a great way to start the conversation for Jerruh and opposing GM's.
Houston really fucked up with Osweiler. I don't see him developing. He has the physical tools but doesn't seem to be able to see the shit a QB needs to see - he's rushing plays and missing open players. Maybe he'll get it next year and justify the contract but sometimes it just doesn't happen for a QB. But I think after this year it's just an expensive mistake that's not fatal. If Romo wants to play Houston would probably be an ideal place to cripple himself for life. But the Cowboys owe Romo a lot of money regardless so they may end up keeping him as a backup because they're getting Prescott really cheap right now.
I read earlier that Rivers has no interest in moving to LA. So they're shopping him around. What a disaster.
Love him. Now if Gates abandons ship too I'll have not even a twinge of team-abandonment regret.
I wouldn't be surprised if he mulls it over and retires before next season. The great run he lead Kent State on (in basketball, lol) and my homey Chris Chambers playing in SD for a few years are the only reasons I've ever watched Chargers games, but it sure is sad to see the team leave home. We know what that's like here, and it sucks. Rivers is getting up there too, so shopping him and rebuilding makes sense anyway.
Can we even be sure RHCPville will support football this time? San Diego will receive serious consideration when the NFL expands to 36 teams, with new franchises in London, and maybe St Louis, OKC, Vegas, Louisville, Little Rock, Mexico City or San Antonio . (Wild speculation, but the NFL is still killing it and the owners could benefit from expansion. And 40 teams would mean one more for each division without realignment.)
If St. Louis and San Diego didn't do enough to keep their own teams, what makes you think someone else will come in and actually give them what they want/need?
Would not surprise me if Jax moved to London within 10 years.
