This is wonderful. Not only am I currently in a position to be voted straight out from a 4 way, but it's now been set up by Jaz that if anybody moves for a second runoff - the reasonable course of action - they will be suspicious for "saving" me, and the suspicion on me won't be gone either.
This is real fucking frustrating. To say nothing of yet another Day 1 runoff for me. I can just set up away messages for the first round of mafia from now on - "I'm town, but I guess someone has to die so if it has to be me, good luck to the town."
Round doesn't end til Monday. Are you seriously worried about getting voted straight off? C'mon now, you know that's not gonna happen.
Secondly, anything in this game can be used for or against you. Or me, or anyone else for that matter. There are people in this game who have no problem moving their vote just to move it and see what happens (Bacon, Carini), so it's not like the game is gonna just freeze now because I said one vote move or another could be telling. There are four people in the runoff, and there are tons of ways this could play out.
If you're town, take a deep breath. If you're Mafia, find a different way to spin it.
Yes, you're right, it just gets kinda old. It is what it is.

So is there value in adding a 4th then reducing directly to 2 or voting outright? That seems counter intuitive for a town that was generally excited to unwrap the ball of string on day 1.
Ld: what's the issue with zig? I haven't been around for a while so is there something that set your sights on him?
So let me tell you something Krissy. Here's what we're gonna do here. All the fine townies out there are gonna help me, ok?
We're gonna make Inforoo great again. We are. We're absolutely going to make Inforoo great again. Now follow my lead. The major problem we are facing right now is, we got these Mafia that come across the border and into our great forum. And you know, they're killers and criminals and no good punks. We know they're going to kill innocent townies asap, and together we're going to stop them. We need to take these sons of bitches out before they hurt us. And we're going to do whatever it takes to keep the town safe.
Now, Zig here is talking some shit about me saying that I'm really Mafia because I voted last. Sounds like Mafia talk to me. He must be jealous of my greatness. He must be scared of the fact that I can track down these Mafia. I'm not going to play by the rules, I'm not going to censor myself - I get the job done. It's people like Zig that have made Inforoo not so great lately.
red flags all over on this post. Bacon is a bottom 4 voter, then does a vote switch before the any of the empty votes place their vote.
The problem with not playing a lot is even more than normal everything I do is always considered suspicious, even more so than when I was a regular player. My MO is to be a power player, because I know I'm innocent (or know I'm not innocent) and I'd rather be the one influencing the direction the game goes than let someone I don't know control it.
Obviously this doesn't help your suspicions at all because you have no reason to think i'm innocent but you should at least know my thinking.
This happens to me a lot as well. This is probably about the furthest I've gone in a game without saying something to get me under fire.

I actually agree with LD. Zig's below post is odd. How can we think we have the right or wrong people on page 2? My random pick was also only page 2. I was only trying to make it as obvious as possible that my vote was random for the sake of the runoff. One of the reasons I got lynched last game was that voted with a suspected mafia on day 1.
I would prefer a runoff of 4. It gives us the most opportunity to see more voting patterns. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the people we have. Myself (ZiG) and Potent always seem to make the Day 1 runoff for no particular reason. KrissyJo seems to have made it because this is her first game in a while. Jaz was picked at random? Seems like we are trying to shoot fish in a barrel.
IMO, LD has the most suspicious activity so far. He was a late voter (last actually) and with that last vote, he basically throws it away instead of choosing 1 of the 4 people with 1 vote to push up into the runoff.
There's a clear advantage for the Mafia waiting to place their votes in D1R1. When you vote early, you lend yourself to reciprocation votes. Both Potent and I received a reciprocation vote. Krissyjo got a vote for not reciprocating (from Bacon). These reciprocation votes immediately put you in danger of being in the runoff, but you don't get reciprocation votes of you haven't voted yet.

you miss the point here. I keep saying we have a greater chance of getting Mafia in the runoff if we voted in the late voters.
Between: JR, Bacon, Monky, and LD I feel confident that 1 of them is Mafia, maybe even 2, based on past history.
Based on how Day 1 is going so far, I'm leaning toward Krissyjo and Potent being town with me. Jaz hasn't said as much so I'm unsure about him.
So basically we have a runoff where we would be lucky if we have 1 Mafia, while if we had the last 4 in a runoff, we would have 1, if not 2.
It's hard to ignore that the 2 people that have been the most vocally against my thoughts are members of the "Last 4".
Here are the 2 notes I made over my reread just now.
1. ZIG implied that he didn't want to stack on me. If he was mafia, why not stack on me? ZIG is probably town.
2. Based on the new "at least 1 of 4 late voters is mafia" theory, Bacon and LD are probably not both mafia because Bacon voted on Zig then LD stacked it...

So you figure Zig is mafia for zeroing in on LD. And that will perhaps have him (LD) in the hot seat next round? LD isn't on my radar as mafia yet. Can you please elaborate more on why you think Zig is possible mafia?
I still don't see how anyone can be sure about anyone else at this point. Someone said it earlier, I think - votes speak louder than words.
Zig - I know you said you were taking your time since it's the weekend, but I think your vote will help the town get the most information. You're in a position to either put a vote on me and see if someone moves to put me back in or put someone in the position of being voted outright, forcing others to move their vote to have another runoff.
Either way, people will likely move around and the more votes changes, the more information for the town to use.

I didn't say Zig is mafia, I said Zig was suspicious for saying we had the wrong people in the runoff on page 2. Shortly after that I did a reread and said I think Zig is not mafia. One of my many faults is that I say exactly what I think when I think it.
