Would the other townies assume that this means that none of the mafia are voting for ZIG right now?
Actually, I have a theory on this. Zig may not have known he was in the wrong place at all when he posted, he may have slipped up and forgot where he was, because he was responding directly to his mafia cohort, Krissy, thinking he was in their PM.
I have no strong feelings towards anyone at the moment so my vote is staying where it is unless I need to move it to make another runoff happen. More votes = more info.
The one thing I don't like is that if I make the next runoff, all 3 of us will have to vote the same way to have a chance to save me...
I imagine the next post in their actual PM was Krissy: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Krissy appears to be laying out her "I'll stay on Zig for now, but make it obvious that I don't feel strongly about it so I can switch to someone else in the next round of the runoff" plan.
To which Zig replies that this is a risky plan.
So, Zig and Krissy are mafia, and the 3rd mafia is someone probably NOT voting for ZIG. Here's to hoping the inspector got that name...
Hm, I'm not sure what to make of it, but Zig's "last four" that he mentioned in his post that I (and others) felt was oh-so-helpful were JR, Monky, LD, and Bacon. Three of those four (plus Zig) are now voting together. I feel like if Zig is Mafia, he'd probably have named one of his Mafia buddies out of those four and then try to steer us away from the one Mafia, OR if he thought of this plan ahead of time he could have made sure that all the Mafia voted early in the round so that the four he named would all be townies.

I don't understand why you said I'm running a great defense for Zig, you mean offense?
I grabbed you because what you said and what he said work together perfectly. You've made it so clear that you're not actually suspicious of Zig that it makes you both at least a little suspicious, even without his mistake, which made it extremely suspicious.
And for the record, I called out to Monky because he is probably mafia #3. His only contribution to the whole game has been to make it clear he wasn't suspicious of Zig in spite of everyone else's suspicion, and imply that maybe we should look at LD instead.

Okay, I actually had an inkling that that's what you meant, but I didn't want to give you ideas if it wasn't haha.
I thought it was bad phrasing, but I didn't realize it was an accusation on me. I guess when you feel cornered you have to make bold moves.
Does anyone else see the correlation between Zig's slip up and Krissy's post immediately before that? I also think part of the slip up was due to Zig's post being on mobile. It's a lot easier to forget where you are when you're on your phone.

The problem with not playing a lot is even more than normal everything I do is always considered suspicious, even more so than when I was a regular player. My MO is to be a power player, because I know I'm innocent (or know I'm not innocent) and I'd rather be the one influencing the direction the game goes than let someone I don't know control it.
Obviously this doesn't help your suspicions at all because you have no reason to think i'm innocent but you should at least know my thinking.

So, there's pretty much always one quiet mafia. It wasn't Zig or Krissy.

Not really. Not yet anyway. The bottom 4 thing could be a total ruse. A clever observation but a red herring, I fell for it. If your insinuating that I don't seem to post much as a bottom 4 voter - I voted for Jaz D1R1, the first person to vote for him & I don't change my vote until I have to on day 1. I had no idea he was going to be battling through 3 runoffs.

I honestly don't recall. It's been close to or maybe over a year since I played last and I don't remember when I played with bacon last. Sorry I'm zero help.

I don't feel cornered, I feel naturally defensive because you made a point blank accusation of me. This may be a shock, but besides Zig, I have no strong feelings towards anyone at the moment, including you. Obviously since you pointed a finger at me, I'm going to look a bit closer at your moves going forward.
Does it kinda feel like theyre playing the cut their losses and not say another word card hoping to lose Zig but avoid pointing more clues towards the other two? That's the impression im getting

D seems like your gut intuition was right. My vote is still sitting on Jaz but only as a place marker at this point. So should we just get on with this or drag it out for more speculative conversation about who should be watched closely day 2?

Obviously not another run off that would be super-counterproductive. I'm just asking do we end this round now or let it ride a bit longer to see who moves. I'd love to hear from Zig but I doubt I'd believe anything he said at this point. That was pretty damning and sounded exactly like mafia cross-talk. I'm leaning more towards lets just end this. Snagging a mafia day 1 is a major victory for the town & tomorrow we can start sorting through the debris.
